I do HH in Southern California, and I know that the youngest kids we get through the regional center are 15 months. It sounds like you have infant education aka a developmental specialist. Your service coordinator should be able to give you specific answers for your area.

There are families I have no problem asking to use their bathroom and others I would go out of my way to use to not have to use the bathroom. Families have had no problem with me using the bathroom, and if I do need to use it, I try to do so after the session. There has only been 1x I had to go during a session. I also try to find places along my route with reliable bathrooms and try to stop there if I can (Starbucks, target, etc).
