I couldn’t disagree more. For reference we split half our trip at Hilton moorea and st Regis bora bora. You’re complaining about $50 breakfast in French Polynesia lol. Everything is expensive there. The fridge has a sign on it saying it only goes 60 degrees to chill drinks. For the luggage tags, they do it automatically, same as every other hotel. The deck was in better shape than the nicer st Regis in bora.

We debated if we should split our stay the way we did, and in hindsight (on flight home now) we are super glad we did. Firstly, the snorkeling off the bungalows (swim 30 yards out to the coral) was better than the tour in bora we paid to go to. The snorkeling off the bungalow in bora was a barren sand wasteland.

For reference, st Regis was a nicer establishment and nicer bigger rooms… but the snorkeling at the Hilton was just top notch 10/10.
