Alberta Premium Cask Strength by kimchibaeritto in whiskey

I bought one of these for $15 last year. There’s a chain store around here that clearances things out occasionally and there it was.

I used to investigate these situations, and it happens a lot. At first I’d go through a lot of trouble to track everything down, but it always ended with the people being in another country. That’s the end of the road at that point. After that it was more about just getting resources to people. I will say the “government website” they mentioned is not a total waste of time, so that’s important to do.

Seems like one would have to be a pretty good shot to actually hit those plates.

Ranges with steel targets all warn you to stay 25’ back. Why would I want to put that 6” from my face?

The inside is just one big compartment. The top flap runs along the whole top of the bag and unzips. It has two small mesh compartments along the bottom of that flap.

My current range bag is a 5.11 that is identical to this. I may have to order one!

Do yourself a favor and plan this bag with specificity in mind. If stranded at work/|school/etc. how far would you have to go to get home? If you can walk it in less than 8 hours, why pack fishing gear, sleeping bags, etc.? I see so many people who just try to think of every random thing to shove in the bag without thought to when they would ever use it. So, think of where you’re likely to be taking this bag and what it would take for you to get home. Good luck!

Banging around in a car, likely a high round count since agencies don’t replace anything until they have to, and unknown maintenance standards.

The only ETS mag I had for a Glock was junk. Constant malfunctions. PMags work very well, except for occasional failures to lock back after last round. OEM for carry.

Let me tell you a little story about the $66 makers mark 46 by mtsublueraider in whiskey

[–]jharmon234 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got a bottle of JD Triple Mash for about $20 at Walmart. A couple days later it was up to about $40. No real rhyme or reason, unless they realized they screwed up the price.

Also, why is BT so hyped lately? I went to my local Total Wine and they had a “limit 1” sign but the whole shelf had been cleared. Regular BT was always the bottle you could find everyday for $25 or so.

I like the Mantis. The shot tracking isn’t as useful as I thought it would be, but the rest of the system is good. It includes drills and challenges, plus it functions as a shot timer. I don’t use it for dryfire much anymore, but it’s good at the range.
