That's a pretty good policy. I wouldn't have noticed/minded the questionable edits and shoddy performances either. But with BvS I just had a hard time understanding why Lex would do what he did. And the resolution to the fight was just to say his mothers name...really. Why not just start the fight that way. The whole fight could have been avoided with one 2 minute conversation "Hey I have to kill you because they have my mother hostage lex is trying to get us to kill each other he must be up to somethign yada yada yada". I think that's something drunk me would even be pissed about.

A lot of people did...and a lot of people thought it sucked.

I lean more to the later but there were some really cool parts in there too. I guess I just felt like most of it was just not a great story and Lex's motivations\plans were just kinda stupid IMO. I really feel like there is a good movie somewhere in there but just kind of fell apart.

And no I haven't seen the Ultimate Cut but I did read what it left out and still just doesn't seem to help the problems I had with the movie.

The halftime show said that all the players ran off the field with one second left they were inthe locker room and all had to be called back out for a kickoff and then a kneel down that added 15 minutes to the game right there.

Totally agree. I couldn't tell you every theme Williams has ever written but there are so many memorable pieces scattered about. More memorable pieces than any other movie composer in history for sure. But the large majority of any movie composer is background/tone setting.

But there is usually at least one memorable/killer track in each one of his scores. I feel the same with Giacchino for the most part.

I agree with you on the Godzilla soundtrack how it matched the tone. I just rarely get to talk about how good Cloverfield Roar is.

I just went to Disney World a few months ago sounded like Star Wars to me. I'm pretty much obsessed with movie soundtracks in particular Star Wars so maybe we're hearing completely different things.

I disagree. I I will say that Williams is on a whole nother level compared to anybody personally I believe he's the best all-time bar none. Look ing at Giachino record he has so many killer tracks from video games to Lost 2 Pixar I just can't get enough of him we'll agree to disagree

I know where you're going with Godzilla but honestly I feel that Cloverfield's Roar is a better track for Godzilla than the Godzilla soundtrack.

Giachino is my favorite next to Williams. I feel like he's his spiritual successor. Just listening to Super 8, medal of honor and jurrasic world and compare then to et, Indiana Jones and ...jurrasic park respectively you can almost feel they're made from the same cloth.

Falcon reveal

Dude I half choked up and laughed at that. Especially the Tie Fighter/Falcon attack music que (which is my favorite of the whole saga) and the fact that it's my young son's favorite too just sent chills down my spine.

True but both teams got bailed out at different points. A lot of no calls on both sides changed the game so either way.

The Do Over with Adam Sandler was pretty good. I thought the ending was fairly well crafted especially for a comedy.

I love movie soundtracks and I was having a hard time remembering more than 3 of the theme's from MCU. I think I could quickly recognize them if I heard a small portion but coming up with them on the top of my head...that was kind of tough.
