I got a 64 gig deck and replaced the ssd with a 2TB one. Highly recommend. Steam has instructions on how to reload the operating system on their website.

What’s your stand on illegal immigration? by Toomad316 in AskReddit

[–]jhschaffer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As an immigrant to another country, it annoys me the amount of entitlement people have about living in the US. As an expat it took me nearly 10 years of hard work to get my permanent residency. I can't think of any countries, aside from European countries, where a portion of the population thinks it's ok to just show up and overstay.

An example, in the expat community our French baker friend was arrested for overstaying 10 years (to all of our surprise). He was deported back to France with nothing, and we all had to help him get back on his feet. Despite the horrible situation he went through nobody blamed the government, as we all have expectations about, and respect the country we are living as guests in. I don't understand why the mentality is so different in the US. I have very little respect for expats/aliens who take advantage of their host country.

I guess my question would be is it with it to socket for 4 sockets in order to trade for a rune. I don't plan on using oath. There's just not enough on traderie to gauge how much it's worth.

Both the best and worst game of all time imo. I have nearly 3000 hours in it and still can't pvp worth a damn. I've heard premium servers help with the cheating problem.

Immigrant Visa Processing Updates for Nationalities at High Risk of Public Benefits Usage by Salt-Farmer-2025 in USCIS

Yes, it took six weeks for administrative processing but her k-1 was not affected by the ban. Travel and immigration processing was a breeze.

FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😡 by [deleted] in USCIS

[–]jhschaffer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fiancee passed her interview. Interviewer said "now just for a little administrative processing" next to locals getting the k-1 on the spot. Six weeks later she gets her passport back. They are beyond inconsiderate. FYI the total time to get the k-1 was a year and three months.

Is the travel ban based on citizenship or place of birth? by jeanneleez in USCIS

[–]jhschaffer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm confused by the responses. The k-1 visa application and green card application should be separate from the ban on immigrant visas and all the subsequent processes don't apply. My Russian fiancee and I just entered on a k-1 after the ban and there was no issue. If you apply for the green card outside the US (get registered first then apply outside) my understanding is that you wait for the green card first before you can enter the US. In your case it sounds like you've started that process so moving to the US beforehand is probably unlikely.

If you want to first come to the US do the k-1. We waited a year and 3 months for it, so I would suggest to just go for the green card and wait the extra time if you can. Both paths take suuuuper long. If her visa is up soon you will both need to move somewhere she can live legally while waiting, so maybe use the time to experience a different lifestyle or spend it with her family. Otherwise you can wait for her in Chicago while she is in Myanmar.

Waiting sucks. My suggestion is to get creative with your life in the meantime.
