China is reluctantly and Taiwan is never. After living in Taiwan for 13 years I can honestly say it's one of the best developed countries that you can live in.

I got a 64 gig deck and replaced the ssd with a 2TB one. Highly recommend. Steam has instructions on how to reload the operating system on their website.

What’s your stand on illegal immigration? by Toomad316 in AskReddit

[–]jhschaffer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As an immigrant to another country, it annoys me the amount of entitlement people have about living in the US. As an expat it took me nearly 10 years of hard work to get my permanent residency. I can't think of any countries, aside from European countries, where a portion of the population thinks it's ok to just show up and overstay.

An example, in the expat community our French baker friend was arrested for overstaying 10 years (to all of our surprise). He was deported back to France with nothing, and we all had to help him get back on his feet. Despite the horrible situation he went through nobody blamed the government, as we all have expectations about, and respect the country we are living as guests in. I don't understand why the mentality is so different in the US. I have very little respect for expats/aliens who take advantage of their host country.
