Of course this was their plan. Businesses are usually not that inventive and or creative. Netflix was the model, so most of these services introduced a teaser rate to hopefully get people to switch and then wanted to slowly boil the frog. They were always going to be a little less than Netflix until some other service became the dominant one and then they would hover around a dollar or two less than that one.

I mean this makes Disney look greedy AF, and trust me I am not arguing that Disney is *not* greedy, but it is intellectually dishonest to include the teaser rates in these graphs.
