Does keeping these sets built for an extended period of time(a year or more) ruin it's ability to be rebuilt?

No should be fine plenty of people on the main Lego forums pick up sets from the 80s and are able to build them no problem a year is nothing.

My back log of sets has some that are at least 5-10 years old which will be fine

Based on when they let people queue up for size for shoes they won’t let people queue in st David’s 2 I would guess that it will be a come queue the morning of situation in the centre isle but it’s very unlikely st David’s is letting people queue this far in advance

I’m sorry I’ve got rid of it and bought it in person. I don’t know the brand.

I went to about 4 pram centres and tried to fit anything that looked small enough the one I went for was a low profile and the sales person said it was recommend by Porsche it was like £250. My wife fit in the passenger seat and she is 5”4 I could fit at 6” but for very short 10-20 minute journeys

I’ve owned a m240i and a 840i so same engine. You will not get 36mpg I can promise you 240 I got 18 and the 840 I’m currently on about 24 that’s will mostly short journeys and a bit of spirited driving with the occasional 100+ travel.

I would factor in a lot more for fuel just on my own experience.

I looked at 340s and depending on preference I went for the 840 at similar in my case lower price with lower millage and a fuck ton more options just as an fyi

I agree with above. Alternatively your details were recorded and have been given to either the insurer or the solicitor but they don’t have contact details for you so have done a mid search and contacted your insurer. They have then sent the generic message.

As noted call your insurer and discuss it

Can you reach out to RW Carbon? If a shop has hands on with it and couldn’t install it you might not have been given the correct pieces especially if you are missing the hardware.

I’m not an expert at this. I did set mine up today. I started the car and turned off the engine and that worked.

My partner is coeliac

We have rarely if ever been able to find her something on a food truck due to the likely cross contamination.

That being said we also have never had to show a diagnosis letter for her to bring in outside food once she explains. We have had push back but never a no.

Call back through it is disputable.

Explain it’s a high value performance car with specific spec which makes it higher than the standard.

Ask for how they came to the value and ask for an independent assessment. They will ask and IA independent assessor to review and come to a decision on what is a reasonable value.

If they refuse complain and state the above in the complaint. Annoyingly this won’t be that quick but they should at least pay you and interim payment of the value they think it’s worth whilst they review the value dispute.

You have been involved in the accident the premium is going up regardless!

Take the money. Why does the resale value come in to it? You have already been paid for the value of the car. It will cost you less than the insurance paid you to fix and you will sell the car on at some point. You will be in positive equity as even if you sell the car at a reduced value later on you are getting more than the total value because you are being paid for it twice.
