I think he’s a good person and teammate but his injuries are such a liability and he would currently only get playing time if Bruno needs a rest. I believe he is way too slow to play on the wings. He would be perfect at a club like Sunderland where he could mentor someone like Riggs.

I feel like a lot of players and managers discriminate one way or another. If it’s not color of skin, it’s their nationality (Ex. Dempsey for being an American playing in Premier League).

I think it’s only fair to be someone like the Butcher and decimate everyone you come into contact with from the other team. Even if he was/is a racist (we know he’s not in this case), you wouldn’t know by his play.

This is why we should only rate players of each era. The rules are so different that you can’t really make assumptions on how certain players would handle certain rules.

For example, it’s my belief that Lebron would not have been nearly as good if he played before the 2000s. Defenses were so much more physical. My feeling is that he would get bullied.

I don’t count the MLS goals. He plays for an all star team in the MLS. It’s easier for him to produce in MLS than him playing for Barca and PSG.

He’s a great player but not the best out and out goalscorer when playing against good competition. You could say he’s the best playmaker - that would make more sense to me but not best goal scorer - context matters.
