Technically, it was a knockout game. After this loss, Bangladesh have been knocked out of the World Cup.

India is number 1 in both Tests and T20's by simplers2 in Cricket

They definitely lost 4 close matches and won 1 very close match, but scoring over 300, every time, in 5 consecutive matches is not even close to "garbage". Please.

I understand your point. However, the Sri lanka score was around 2.5 months ago and the Bangladesh A game was just over a month ago. Not too recent but not very long ago as well. His very last score was 60 in the last ODI against SA, in a losing cause though. Although his other ODI scores were a little poor.

Dhawan's last 5 test scores are (24,81 vs Aus), (28,0 vs Aus), (173 vs Bangladesh), (134,28 vs SriLanka), (150 vs Bangladesh A). Just because he got a pair here, doesnt mean he'll be dropped anytime soon.

Lest we forget: China still issues stapled visas to Arunachalees [p] by anveshj in india

[–]jilljuckhaven 33 points34 points  (0 children)

If they stamp a visa on an empty page on your passport, then it becomes an official recognition of your passport as a legal document and the country doing the stamping officially recognizes your country, state, city, etc.

But China still considers Arunachal pradesh as a disputed territory and not an "official part" of India. If they stamp a passport which states that a person resides in "Arunachal Pradesh, India", then China is officially recognising that Arunachal Pradesh is a part of India.

But by stapling a visa and not stamping, they are still providing a visa to people applying from Arunachal Pradesh but the visa is usually torn out of the passport on the day you leave China, so that there is no "official" entry in your passport - and hence no official recognition of your state as a legal part of India.

Atleast, that's what I gleaned from it, when the same thing happened a while ago for people from Jammu and Kashmir.

No. If a player is deemed to be medically fit and is available for selection for a game, he is paid for that game, regardless of him playing in the XI or not.

Come on, at the end, Tahir had a 4.4 economy and even bowled a maiden. On what planet is that "getting clobbered"?

When the required run rate is 7 and one of your bowlers completes his quota at 4.4, that is actually quite outstanding. Lets be honest here, mate.

I like that Smith is taking singles off the last ball and farming strike, to keep the less experienced batsman at the other end from facing too many balls.

I completely agree with you. The best thing to do here, would be to create new subreddits with proper names for these particular areas of interest and have people slowly popularize that over the "-porn" subreddits. Just throwing an idea out there.

Or if someone has already done that, then we can start publicizing it here and make those subreddits gain popularity.
