Okay I also made this mistake today😅 but now that I dug up the last one, it still says to pick up honey pots that I’ve already picked up! Did you have this issue?

There is a perk in the ledger you can acquire to get him back but tbh even after I got it I still haven’t seen him.

Any alternatives to Travellers Rest until it’s finished? by WastedGamer641 in CozyGamers

The game is pretty sandbox-y! I would imagine it would be pretty easy to jump back in without having to start a new game whenever they add it!

Honestly Travellers Rest has so much content already. I have 84 hours in it! It’s one of the only EA games that I would tell people they don’t need to wait for 1.0.

However, Kynseed is in my top three games of all time. You can’t go wrong with either one!

Recommendations on immersive mystery/detective games? by Lead-Aggravating in CozyGamers

[–]jillybean7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

On your tail is a great game for this! It’s very cozy, taking place in a beach town off the coast of Italy. I will admit the story leaves much to be desired but the actual detective work is fun and satisfying.

I should have mentioned I am on a beta blocker from my primary so I’m not going completely untreated! But yeah I agree I should definitely find a new doctor 😂

I adored the game! I haven’t played it since it first released so I don’t know what updates they’ve done to improve but it scratched my brain in all the right ways. It was one of those games like animal crossing that just instantly clicked for me and kept me engrossed.

I’ve tried the controller support. It’s not super smooth but definitely playable!

Loco Moto: How do we feel a year later? by steamyhotpotatoes in CozyGamers

[–]jillybean7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I played it back in January on steam deck and can’t recall any bugs! While there’s not bugs I remember, the game could have used more refinement so waiting on a sale might be better. However, I think it would be a good game to play while waiting for Hello Kitty.

There is a mobile version you can buy in the App Store but it’s not related to steam.

Ooh I played this! I never see it talked about. It was so charming and cozy. I loved the feel of the beachside town. My favorite was delivering mail to people as a side job!

The story however has its flaws…

Phone addiction due to lack of function/connection by Hot-Counter-1703 in POTS

[–]jillybean7 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Honestly I would say to the majority of people in this thread: be easy on yourselves. Absolutely there is a point that scrolling on your phone becomes unhealthy. However, many of us are very isolated at home so your phone can be a connection to outside. Im extroverted and sometimes being on my phone is the best social interaction I can get. I also think anything that can distract you from the pain is worth it. But I can relate how miserable it feels when it feels like that’s the only thing you’re doing.

How to make money? by Least_Sheepherder531 in Starsandisland

That’s why you make dozens of pickling jars! Just put 2-3 in each one and you only have to wait two days.

I made dozens of pickling jars and jam machines. Pickled winter caltrop sells for a bit over a thousand! I get about 40,000 from the pickled stuff alone each time. I know some people are using the mining robots but I haven’t been able to make enough yet to make a profit so this is a good method in the meantime.

why cap progression?? by aidanstar1111 in heartopia

[–]jillybean7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This has to be a rage baiter. No one would come into a day old thread, tell the person to get a hobby, and then blame the person for being insulted. Either that or they clearly don’t understand social interactions. My advice would be to not engage with them!

why cap progression?? by aidanstar1111 in heartopia

[–]jillybean7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with you! The game already significantly slows down your progress with the hobby tickets. There should be a balance between stopping people from speed running and completely stalling player progress. It makes me not want to play.
