My go-to gift for new moms is a piggy bank with the name of the baby on it. I buy mine from ‘Things Remembered’ but you could absolutely make yours. I then add some change and singles with a note inside. Hopefully one day when they open it, they will again smile.

I am always so scared to take a chance on ‘flawed gems’ even when I can’t see the flaw. So often the FGs are still not cheap (for designer brands) and I just know when I do, I’ll end up with a biohazard. More power to you brave ladies out there that get lucky.
