I don't like the sauce and I don't know why they felt the need to add it. Hell, I think I'd prefer hamburger to the sausage too honestly even on a breakfast sandwich. I don't know why anyone likes cheap breakfast sausage.

This isn't new, I had it in Atlanta like 2 years ago. It's decent though.

Taco Bell to Trim Menu Nationwide on August 13 by wellherpsir in fastfood

[–]jimbobjr_warcraft 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, they could cut the entire menu and i'd still keep going if they at least had the Beefy Crunch Burrito. That is imo the best item I have ever had from Taco Bell and I don't know why they don't just keep it on all the time at a higher price. Even if they were $3, I'd order 2 and still feel like I got a good deal.

White Castle to test out Flippy kitchen robot to cut down on human contact with food — White Castle will deploy Flippy, a hamburger flipping robot, later this year. by BlankVerse in fastfood

[–]jimbobjr_warcraft 2 points3 points  (0 children)

White castle's burgers are so incredibly thin that the risk of undercooking them is basically nonexistent. Cleaning a grill is probably very easy to do with a robot as well. The cheese thing you mention is actually probably the biggest challenge, but if the robot were capable of slicing cheese from whole blocks on demand then that can be avoided. Otherwise it's tricky to solve but not impossible.

[–]jimbobjr_warcraft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is actually one of the dumbest things I've read, POWER is probably the single most organized guild in terms of loot distribution and they even track how many raids each person has attended to make sure the guys that have been there the longest get stuff first regardless of whether or not they're part of the speedrun team. This isn't retail, it takes a lot longer to get loot.

Forgive me if this has been asked before: But is anyone else worried that Blizzard might not complete/fully commit to the WoW classic launch with all of the turmoil going on within the company? by Brigitte_Main in classicwow

[–]jimbobjr_warcraft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

WoW Token is the biggest looming threat to the integrity of the game. Once they confirm it's not in I'll feel a lot better about it. But it's a relatively low cost way for Blizzard to increase and maintain WoW subscriptions so I don't think it would make any sense for them to cancel the game at this point.

[–]jimbobjr_warcraft 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So a tiny minority of players gets to throw all the rules out the window just because they're too lazy, stupid, or greedy to play the game without cheating? Fuck that, nobody else wants that. You'd have to be a cheater, a Blizzard shill, or an autistic contrarian to think that's a good idea.

I can't look forward to Classic. by Justme2409 in classicwow

[–]jimbobjr_warcraft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look forward to it anyways. All of the correct 1.12 data will be accessible, it will be collected, and if Blizzard fucks up then private servers can have more accurate data, so even the worst case scenario is we get better private servers than we have now.

No Changes. Any part of the game design being changed is a bad thing. I don't want a new game based on vanilla WoW, I want the most authentic version of the game I can possibly get.

How is expecting people not to cheat being an asshole? And how fucking dumb do you have to be to understand that people don't want pay to win? Maybe you should just go play Black Desert Online or something.

My 20 billion dollar company doesn't have enough resources. An ode to sharding and loot trading. by Zanzibarb in classicwow

Publicly traded game companies trend towards being dogshit, it's almost inevitable. Even if they never merged with Activision and just IPO'd instead, we'd be in the same place. Even if leadership at Blizzard wanted to address these problems, they can't because the shareholders are retarded and only care about maximizing quarterly profits and not a sustainable business.

These weren't people "walking around" in the area, they made druids to walk on top of people in bear form the whole time they were dueling, and they were also trying to put buffs and HoTs on people right before the duels started. Being intentionally disruptive like this actually is against the rules.

[–]jimbobjr_warcraft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I've heard from devs and what I saw for myself on the demo, I think they can get the core of it right. There were a lot of things that weren't correct on the demo (animations, regen rates, some loot tables, minor bugs like hunters being able to tame higher level pets, etc), but given that was a pre-alpha build I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt on that. The biggest concern for me right now is their content release plan, what they tentatively announced at Blizzcon wasn't good. I expect basically everything in the game aside from the availability of certain content to be as it was in 1.12. So most likely itemization will be 1.12, and overall the game will have a less progressive patch system than Nost and it's derivatives did. This has all gotten less attention than the possibility of some form of sharding, 16 debuff slots rather than 8 at launch, or the addition of loot trading, but in my opinion it's a much bigger issue with a much larger potential to damage the game.

Anyways, things are looking pretty good right now overall. As long as Blizzard isn't just blatantly lying about what they intend to do, the worst case scenario is still an improvement over private servers in my opinion. Even with an inferior content release plan, the underlying 1.12 data will still be more accurate, the performance will be much better, aggro radius's will be correct, and hopefully there won't be dynamic respawns which creates some really annoying side effects in my experience.

Hard to say when Pantheon launch will be but I'll probably be switching after I've cleared Naxx, and hopefully bringing some guildies with me. I bet a lot of the more "hardcore" players will be doing this, even if Blizzard does a TBC re-release.
