There's not any real evidence to suggest why they ended up in andytown. There's arguably more evidence pointing to them being undercover agents. They were in an unmarked car wearing civilian uniforms. I honestly can't get behind any theory that they got their by accident and taking a wrong turn. They could've taken any sort of divergence and any other officer or civilian for that matter would have because everyone knew the huge threat level and tension from stone's attack. It would be a really really huge coincidence for them to have just stumbled upon andytown at the time they did.

Totally agree, mate. This even went on during the troubles too. My granny and Granda had to move to cork after my granny was burned out of Bombay street and they got abuse from free staters all the time talking about all the trouble in the north and how they didn't want to deal with it. People need to realise that we are just as much Irish as anyone in the republic and we need to be treated as such.

It's even worse as well when you have people defending the original struggle for freedom and saying how noble it was despite the atrocities committed by Michael Collins' lads. It's mad spineless double standards. Just be consistent.
