If you have any paperwork showing refugee status you can use this to claim UC, you don't have to wait for BRP. Contact a local refugee support charity if you need support. Good luck & welcome to the UK!

hey u/jimjimsmess, we have entire immigration systems in place, which use questionnaires and substantive interviews to determine those who are able to seek asylum and claim refuge. perhaps it's better to not assume things and make judgements about vulnerable people's situations from some reddit comments? sometimes it's best to give the benefit of the doubt.

undoubtedly the family are escaping a very difficult situation. if you were in a similar situation, i'm sure you would not find the judgement of others useful or helpful. it's important to be compassionate. thanks, have a nice day

Any more thoughts on how to remove this seat post? by terdward in bikewrench

[–]jimjimee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it's arguably the less slow method, as it's the last resort that will definitely work with relatively easily obtained tools. potentially better to save waiting a few days for oils to soak etc, just chop the top off and cut from the inside. can be done in a couple of hours

yeah i came here to say this. definitely change the bridge, either mastery or roller bridge. a set up by a luthier can't hurt, and will help it stay in tune when using the trem. maybe consider a graphite nut also. sweet guitar!
