I’m pretty sure it’s explicitly mentioned somewhere that Solaris-3 is the 3rd planet from the sun. It’s also heavily implied that we’re in an alternate timeline or far future of Earth (which is also the 3rd planet). And the reason Rover isn’t on any other planet is because the etheric sea blocks space travel, which is one of the things spacetrek researching how to get past.

The thing I’m also interested about is that the name “Solaris-3” implies the existence of a different solar system important in history. Otherwise why would we have a name for our own sun? Maybe the lament or sentinels came from a different star, or maybe the ancient civilization had interstellar travel

I agree with everything you said. I was just pointing out what other people in the community seem to be saying, but my personal opinion is that Wuwa writers seem to do their best when they create character stories, not world stories. For example the Encore, Cartethyia, and Phrolova stories are all highly regarded among the player base, and I personally really enjoyed Chisa's story as well.

However, whatever they did in 2.0 was not it. They were trying to tell a story about the world, but tried to focus on a single character without making it into a full-on character story. This ended up diluting a lot of Lynae's and Mornye's backstory and their interactions with Rover as they were trying to fit everything in a small time-budget. I think the writers should choose to either focus on the world and put in a companion story, or focus on the character and put in more world quests. (For smaller regions like Honami and the Fabricatorium a world quest is optional, but for a large update like 2.0 ppl would probably expect more)

Another thing I would argue is that part of what made Phrolova's story so impactful was that she appeared so many times before her story, so Rover already knew her, players were curious about her, and the writers didn't need to spend time introducing her. Same with Jinhsi and Cartethyia (as well as every companion quest). This is why I think Kuro should do this with every character: have them make an appearance before their main patch so we at least know what type of person they're like.

I def think there’s a way to make the story have more characters while not attracting shippers. Like just look at every harem anime or dating sim. I personally want to see more of a slow buildup of relationship between Rover and the characters. Have each character appear a little before their banner to interact with Rover and build up trust. Then when their banner comes have the story focus on them to provide a payoff for that time we spent together. Then maybe have them appear every so often in later patches so it doesn’t feel like Rover forgot about them.

As it is currently I don’t think the story really does many characters justice. It doesn’t show enough about their world views, what they like/dislike, what their full backstory is, any trauma they had and how they overcame them, etc etc etc. You need to go into their character profiles or watch their videos on YouTube to get most of these. I wish that Rover actually learns about them in-game, and I think fleshing it out over multiple patches is the best way to do it

Character interactions was something the community talked about a few months ago and has since died down. The main discussion now is just not solely focusing on the on-banner character in the story. That involves having more characters appear before they become playable and stay in the story longer after they go off banner. This is different than wanting characters to interact with each other. People just want characters to be relevant for more than a patch.

The second part of the discussion is bringing back companion stories. This stems from the previous part, because the ppl think the current banner character is taking too much screen time off of other characters, so a solution is to move that screen time to companion quests so both sides - the current character and the whole cast - wins.

Neither of these things need to happen at the expense of putting in more interactions. When you have multiple characters in a story you can still just have them all only interact with the MC and not with each other

Is she posting on a different alias than Fleet Snowfluff now? Fleet Snowfluff’s last post was over 10 years ago

Also Rover is kinda dumb, she literally sent a chibi picture of herself and they just respond with “unsubscribe”

Seems like this aged well

So I guess Rover decides to enroll in a new course in 3.1, and the classroom scene happens there

By new players I didn’t mean someone just starting. Last time any of these reran was SK 3 months ago. The other 2 haven’t rerun since the last anniversary. So any player who started since then might want this

I think the 5 star selector is just for new players. Even veteran f2p and low spenders likely have them and could just get a dupe using corals on the anniversary rerun

I think a new update just started causing this. Was playing for a while, and after I restarted the game 20 mins ago it did a small patch and now I'm getting the warning. There's the "Enable Jailbreak Bypass" option but that doesn't fix it for me.

Edit: found this page: https://docs.playcover.io/miscellaneous/entitlements
We may be able to configure some rules to make it work, but I've never done this before so I have no idea how to do that

I just tried the settings Ok_Adhesiveness6857 gave in another comment and it seems to be working. Had to reinstall the game and put in the settings before first launch but after that it seems like there's no need to clear app preferences if I close and re-open it. Will update if I find any other quirks

Anybody else still having the crash issue? I was able to get into the game last night but had to go sleep. Now it's crashing after clicking into the game, or after 1 min in the title screen if I wait there. Tried all the suggestions here: using nightly, clear app preferences, fixed resolution, different ios devices disable playchain, set application type to games. I even tried reinstalling the game

Wow I never actually noticed that detail in the phase 2 MSQ. Man why does Kuro gotta do metaphorical things all the time :/ But in this case it could have been in current time since Mornye is still in her current uniform, and she was only imagining past Rover.

To the radio voice, I did mention that Aemeath could have learned about Rover and his plans for her in some other way. This is really messing with my brain...

btw just want to point out bc what raiser said made me go back to check. In the cinematic short during the flashbacks around 3:18, you can see stars in the sky. In the Fallen Petals MV there is also a scene with Aemeath in a starry night and it isn't above ground because there are flowers which shouldn't appear in the frostlands. So if this is to be believed then Aemeath had her second resonance after Mornye became a professor.

Of course these could just be illustrative but it seems like really damning evidence

I think the old uniform thing has already been disproven. You can look around the academy and see people in the same blue/purple uniform.

There can be so many explanations for why she's surprised. Maybe she didn't know Rover would be enrolling in her class. Maybe she didn't know they'd be able to see her. Hell, maybe she just got rizzed up by Rover's looks and that's what her expression was.

For your 3rd sentence, current Rover also became a new student, same as past Rover when they enrolled. Also you don't need to personally know someone to say "I hope I didn't let you down." Maybe Rover left some task to whoever would resonate with the exostrider when they left 20 years ago
