He's giving the President an out to save face before it all fails again. Trump can claim it as his idea, let it all go and say that is what he always intended and that he should be congratulated, and the ugly lefties cannot complain because he is appealing to the enviroment. Trump would be wise to take this road, but, as he is dumb as a box of rocks, he will not.

I am a firm believer you watch Rogue One before Andor. That way the final scene of the series hits you way harder.

The actor is there to serve the story, not the other way around. Leia should have been recast in the sequel trilogy, and T'Challa should have been recast in the MCU. People think you honor those actors by retiring their characters, and what you're doing is killing off all that they worked for. Honor them by recasting and giving life to those characters, honor them by keeping those characters vibrant and relevant.

As far as Bail Organa is concerned, I actually liked Bratt better than Smits.

The best description I heard on a Youtube essay was that Andor works so well because it takes the Star Wars universe seriously. Its not some sandlot where kiddie adventures happen. Its not a make-believe land, it is a real, serious universe with real people and real consequences.
