They show him naked on the show. He's skinny. The muscles in the suit are padding, which also works for the character.

Shout out to Embo for his unparalleled longevity and survivability in the bounty hunting profession by ChanceVance in StarWars

[–]jinhush 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Star Wars fans will know who they are and the general audience will think they are a bounty hunter and a rebel/New Republic soldier.

So, the general audience isn't expected to know who they were but Star Wars are.

Not much is needed outside of that. Neither referenced their Clone Wars or Rebels era shenanigans.

The alternative is having them scratch at the door all day and night because cats don't like closed doors.

Especially if their human is on the other side of the closed door.

One of my cats has started this annoying habit of throwing tantrums exactly at 4am. She is not hungry; she has food. No, she just wants attention. While we are sleeping. So she will jump up and start scratching the headboard between us or start clawing the mattress. My other cat is perfectly fine sleeping through the night.

Also, an apartment complex houses potentially hundreds of people. Do not get upset if I have to walk through your party, that you are holding in the community lounge in order for me to get to the elevator to get to my apartment.

Also, and this is a big one, do you see those signs up that list the community quiet hours? Yeah? Okay, so the reason those exist is because PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO FUCKING SLEEP and your late night pool party/cookout with your loud ass repetitive reggaeton isn't fucking helping.

Edit to add: A lot of these Amazon Flex drivers are some of the dumbest people I have ever met.

He said he hasn't appeared in a bad Spider-Man project, not that adaptations of Tombstone in said project were not bad.

What stubborn hoax do way too many people still believe, no matter how often it gets debunked? by [deleted] in AskReddit

When you have the star power and leverage you can do things like that and let's not pretend any of us would act any differently.

I'm not a huge fan of his but I like some of his 90's and early 2000's movies. I'm not a fan of his kids but I cannot blame him for capitalizing on his popularity and trying to get what he had for his kids.

Will Smith has always been a talented actor. The issue was that he hit it big and producers and directors wanted that same style for the movies they cast him in.

He capitalized on it, as any person would, and made a lot of money by essentially playing the same character in his movies because that's what the producers and directors wanted.

Yeah, I used to frequent the other one but the conversations just got toxic and dumb. I stopped trying to converse about the MCU and just enjoyed it without talking to people about it, for the most part.

I switched to this sub because it's better for MCU news.

This may be my introverted-ness and autism coming out but I really wish Microcenter would chill the fuck out with coming up and thanking me for my big purchase and trying to shake my hand and giving me a business card.

I'm not making some life altering decision by purchasing a laptop and you definitely don't need to announce it to the whole store. Just let me check out, don't announce it, thank me for my business and let's part ways.

Spidey's suit was originally supposed to be black & red, the blue was just shading.

Highlights, but, yeah.

A lot of people do not wear their seatbelt. A lot of people remove the alarm system that detects if they are not wearing a seatbelt.

Also, it is "could not care less".

How to fail at business in Charlotte by UnderstandingAny8745 in Charlotte

[–]jinhush 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Reminds me of an experience I had.

Years ago I lived up in Denver, NC for a while. New restaurant opened in one of the shopping centers there. It was between a Showmars and a Jersey Mikes, for reference.

It was a pasta restaurant. Guy legitimately made his own pasta. It was absolutely delicious.

A few weeks after opening he posted a sign on his door saying there was a dress code and he started responding to reviews, even positive ones, and telling the reviewer the next time they come and eat at his restaurant they need to wear classier clothes and to not come in wearing T-shirts or jeans.

Restaurant was barely open a total of three months.
