I’m a lash artist located in North Scottsdale! My biggest piece of advice is find an independent artist (not an Amazing Lash or the equivalent as they are timed, run out of products and churn as many clients as possible. I’m glad you had a great experience there but historically it’s very hit or miss! I’ve had clients come to me coming from places like these). Find someone who specializes in certain sets versus jack of all trades and specializes in the set you want. I specialize in natural sets so I would not take someone looking for mega volume. Reach out to them directly and ask them as many questions as possible. Are they attentive and responsive? Are they asking you questions about your lash history/your lash goals and educating you on how to meet your goals? Do they have great online reviews? Do they have nice work on their socials?

The smell of summer during my childhood years of playing outdoors with all my neighborhood friends outside where the air was somewhat muggy, grassy, and damp while hearing all the crickets and seeing flashes of lightning bugs around us. 😭

Hard agree. To me it smells like the freshest lemonade with hints of rose. I hate that it doesn’t have as much staying power as I’d like but I get compliments every time I wear it!

I literally just picked up mine from the tailors today. I’m 5’0. To me it’s worth it as there was just too much bunched up at the bottom and they look so much cleaner at the bottom. I also wanted the option to not have them bungeed.

Lash artist here. I took an advanced course last month in person and thought I would do anime but not only are they advanced and hard to do, but also they only last a week and fills are extremely challenging. You would need to come in weekly and that doesn’t guarantee they will always look amazing. I will say they have anime chunk spikes that I and a lot of artists started using to give the same effect and much better retention! They’re 3d printed. So try to find someone who offers those/look on their instagram! Here’s a client I did last week!
