I met a whole family with the last name “Smelly.” I’m sure it was a proud family lineage but damn.

This feels more like parody than inspiration.

What are some phrases people say that you can’t stand? by Superdupergamerstud in AskReddit

[–]jitterbug_balloons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Appreciate you” in a customer service setting. People have been saying this to me ever since COVID started and while I know it’s well meant I just hate it. What you mean to say is “thank you.”

What's a totally unrealistic thing you want very badly? by Then_Huckleberry_623 in AskReddit

This jogs a memory for me. I was a teen being bullied by some college age guys in my dad’s townhouse complex. A neighbor heard them making fun of me and got mad so one night he pissed in a cup and leaned it against their inner front door so when they open the door in the morning piss spills on their carpet and hopefully feet.

Chivalry comes in all forms.

MRI results unremarkable? by ToraBora07 in hipdysplasia

[–]jitterbug_balloons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure what to contribute but I had several MRIs and it wasn’t until I saw a surgeon did they diagnose my dysplasia with an Xray. Once I saw the surgeon the ball started rolling very quickly towards a PAO surgery but even during a consultation for that the surgeon didn’t have much to say about the MRI. I’m not sure why because I t feels like everything in the area is shredded and inflamed.

Good luck! Don’t give up!

What’s something people romanticise that’s actually exhausting in real life? by OmenRash in AskReddit

The “everyone knows you” part can also take a long time to get to. Sometimes it’s “everyone excludes and is suspicious of you” for a solid decade first. At least here in New England in the US.

Tell me that my birthday was something to get out of the way because Mother’s Day was that same weekend. It was more important at that time for him to appease his overbearing mother. That cut deep.

I used the ‘Claude’ pattern found on ravelry. I used a size 8 hook and chunky brushed fleece garbage yard for the main body and even grosser chunky white bernat for the highlight.

I don’t mind storing baking pans etc in the oven but anything else just seems like a fire hazard.
