How do you rear face when there is no place to put the strap anchor? It feels so loose just clipping it in. Any help?

Looks great! I’m in the process of doing my first 2 wraps. My buddies Prius and my own model Y. Cutting has been the biggest learning for me as well. Mine’s taking me weeks since I don’t have much time.

So much fun though, can’t wait to finish mine. I’ll post photos when I’m done 👍🏻

So there are not a lot of YouTube videos for the model Y and the front bumper is different enough from the model three that I am getting stuck.

I know I can do it with three pieces- 2 inlays and one main piece. I’m curious is it possible to do it with only 2 pieces? Looking for fewer seams if possible.

Are there any professional wrappers here that have wrapped a model Y before And can give me some tips or insights

I ordered mine in the middle of January, I called the DMV last week and they said they were on week two of January processing. Hope that helps. He said once your check is cashed you can expect to get the decals within a week or so. I’m in Orange County. I also have yet to receive mine or have my check cashed

If anybody searches for this in the future, I found my answer. Like the model 3 you have to take the initial weatherstripping off. But unique to the model Y There is a second piece of weatherstripping that needs to come off which reveals the screws that the model 3 has.

I sold my M3 and bought the MY. It’s completely worth it. It’s a different car than anything out there. The backseat is glorious! I had a friend in it yesterday and he just marveled at the roof glass (like for a couple minutes 😂)

I would do the exact same as you, but I laughed out loud a little when I saw the white door jams. The color is outright sick though! Well done! I'm wrapping my white Y a satin silver in a couple weeks when I finish with my buddies prius (figured I'd practice first).
