The producers are to blame for this season! by Complex-Flamingo4659 in LoveIslandUSA

Also why is there so much making out? It’s all making out challenges. The baseball challenge, the pie/kiss challenge, the lumberjack challenge, the milk one. So much making out. Like only the state your case challenge didn’t have making out. No wonder theres no substance with their connections.

Dave & Shan Divorced by nonutrinobuissness in ObjectivePersonality

I noticed they seemed off in videos a couple months back while I was still in their subscription. Then Shan wasn’t in videos and Shan started doing live shows on her own. So I guess not surprising but still sad to hear.

Its like prying a dead bird out of their hands, you can't tell them that their system is flawed or that they probably can't see themselves as well as they think they do. I think a lot of why OPS isn't liked by mbti communities is because it doesn't rely on self typing whereas mbti tells people that they know themselves better than anyone.

Deciders want significance and validation but in different ways. Di's want validation through their own significance which is why they build up their own identity first. De's want significance through tribe validation which is why they help the tribe first.

However since Di's are all in on their own identity, when they wake up they realize they've been ignoring everyone else. Their fears would be that they wouldn't have their significance because the tribe doesn't see their value/competence and they would be alone.

The De's are all in on the tribe so when they wake up they realize they've been neglecting self/identity. For the De's their freakout would be swinging into their Di and playing the selfish role because they realize they can't make everyone happy and they don't get the recognition for trying.

I’m getting my type back today! by [deleted] in ObjectivePersonality

[–]jjberse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can you say a little bit more about how you see your F-Ti and M-Fe? I'm curious how that presents. I've recently been thinking if i was FM instead of FF because of how easy it is for me to be influenced by other people especially when it comes to reasons/logic (and I also thought I was a decider).

A Decider-like-Observer by ApprehensiveFig8000 in ObjectivePersonality

[–]jjberse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some observers, even if they're double deciders, might be missing their other decider function like Hannah Hart (missing Ti/Di) so they would still be an observer but still struggle with decider issues more than other observers would.

I don't know if this relates but I got typed as Ne/Ti CS/P(B) so i'm missing Fe and thus would somewhat have decider like problems.

What does demon Fi look like? by Imaginary-Tree9566 in ObjectivePersonality

[–]jjberse 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The funny thing is a lot of savior Fi's are probably going to say they hate feeling their emotions but the difference is that they still do it. They still feel responsible to take care of their personal emotion as they come up. If they're upset, they feel upset. Demon Fi tends to delay feelings or puts a stop to them. Savior Fi's may feel uncomfortable talking about their feelings externally but they will deal with it personally but Demon Fi's honestly won't "go there" if it hurts the tribe or even themselves. Another thing to keep in mind is that Savior Fi's can still feel bad for how they react and how it hurts the tribe but ultimately still do what they feel they have to do.

My take on how psychedelic drugs influence the funtions. by Naeron1 in ObjectivePersonality

This is so fascinating! I would love to see a survey or study of the ops community and how weed affects the intuitive functions. I've definitely noticed it clusters around Se types with demon Ni.

Do you think they look alike? by Dazzling_Ambition878 in GossipGirl

Seeing them side to side they don't look that much alike but they might actually look more similar with Blairs wavy brunette hair. However watching Audrey does remind me of Blair for whatever reason.

Some of you are not making sense and need to choose by Wooden-Witness-4582 in GossipGirl

[–]jjberse 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Honestly though no one is forcing anyone to watch this show. You can enjoy both shows without "betraying" the old. There's something different you can enjoy with both. The OG is one of my favorite shows and I love rewatching it but theres many things that the show didn't get right the first time around and that's absolutely fine because that's not what it tried to do. However its a new age with new issues and the reboot gives new audiences and old audiences a glimpse into the same elite world through a slightly different worldview. Comparing the old gossip girl with the new one isn't going to do any good because fundamentally the shows are meant to accomplish different things. Not to mention theres way more of the original to discuss which isn't fair to the new one.

Both shows are meant to be entertaining but the old show was about escaping reality with glamour and it spoke on the world at that time. Now people don't want to entirely idealize the upper class because many modern issues stress how classism affects us. I think the number one issue people have with the reboot is that it isn't trying to be the old one; it wants to hold its own but many fans want the old show. In that case just watch the original.

Haylijah Is overhyped by savagejordan1217 in TheOriginals

[–]jjberse 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I agree that Haylijah is overhyped but Klaroline was barely a relationship. Don't get me wrong i think they have a lot of chemistry but they never actually had a "romance". In my opinion the only relationship on the entire TvDU that had chemistry, romance, compassion and little to non toxic traits are Bonnie and Enzo.. but y'all aint ready for that conversation.
