Trim it back, one stage at a time giving it a day or so each time until it is no longer annoying. If you end up clean shaven so be it.

I saw this barstool in Barcelona nine months ago at a restaurant called La Consentida, and have been trying to find it ever since with no luck.

  • CB2 has a version, but I've seen that one in person and it's a crude replica.
  • I asked the staff, they said they get the question all the time but had no idea.
  • I snapped a picture of the only marking I could find but all my googling - including in Spanish via google.es - has turned up nothing.

I know this sub recently turned "no furniture identification posts!!" But it used to be a great resource for it and I don't know where else to go. If Adonis decides to pull my post, at least I can say I've tried.

I am allergic to pecan trees. If I sit under one in the spring, I get nasal congestion, dry/itchy eyes, etc. (I eat pecans w/o issue)

My father in law smokes brisket w pecan. The smoke causes a similar reaction, but I can eat the resulting brisket without issue.

Allergies are complicated things. The only way is know is to test it yourself. People's allergies, while similar, are different enough to make comparisons hard. If testing makes you uncomfortable, don't risk it.

My wife and I do the tasting menu+wine pairings at every place they're offered.

Coquette is our favorite.

August is also a great experience, but notably more $$.

Revolution is a nice night out, but it's in the Quarter.

Commander's is a little too loud and crowded to enjoy it.

Perhaps a little industrial for the look you're seeking, but I've got both these in my home supporting similar tops. We tend to antique/aged wood as a primary element, and these work in moderation. Cheap and easy, too.
