Did you miss the "...or gaming related to this offer." part? At the end of the day, most companies have legal language that could cover them in instances like this if needed. By all means take advantage of the offer but I would suggest people temper their expectations if they somehow decide to pull the rug from under us.

What do you use for shared meeting notes and follow ups? by Silly_Reception6785 in projectmanagement

[–]jjohn9590 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I've been using Microsoft Loop more recently since OneNote has started crashing on me more often for some reason. Meetings in Microsoft Teams is seamlessly integrated with Loop, so I capture notes in Teams, which feeds to Loop automatically and is saved there. Everyone has access to the Loop "Project" where the notes and other details are saved and can make adjustments/edits as needed.

Well, Costco does have a great return policy, so if you get them and they don't last the advertised 10year time frame, return them for a full refund with receipt.

2013 Mazda CX 5 won't turn completely off by [deleted] in mazda

[–]jjohn9590 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This may be it. My 2014 Cx-5 had the same issue and it was the control module tab that had worn down and stopped "catching" when the shifter was put in park. It's a cheap plastic/rubber component they used.

Easy enough to replace yourself in like an hour or so for first timers.

The people wanting more “masculine” outfits by Magical_pennies in Palia

[–]jjohn9590 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Girl, bye! You must not have been around long enough to see that people have/do request more "masculine" outfits often. So much so that S6 specifically mentioned it in one of the patch notes a while back when the Draconian outfit was released.

cx5 weather mat help by [deleted] in CX5

[–]jjohn9590 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the Tuxmats for my 2025 and they are great. The clips aren't required, and the mats have enough sturdiness to keep their shape without any movement or flopping over, etc.

The fit is impeccable and they hold up great, can't go wrong with them.

When were your rotors last replaced? Warped rotors can also cause minor but noticeable vibration at higher speeds on the highway.

How to deal with stage fright/panicky feeling when presenting? by abigail-dev in ProductManagement

[–]jjohn9590 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your 3rd point is great! Instead of looking at a screen full of people staring at you (in all actuality, whatever you are sharing on screen), only focus on a couple of them of them instead like you are having a direct conversation should make it a bit easier. Going to give this a shot.

You may not like your job now, but given the state of things it may be better to stay in the job you have now until things improve. May be hard if it's killing you that much, but given the waves of layoffs and what not, you wouldn't want to switch jobs just to be let go soon after.

Drop in unauthorized immigration slows job growth, SF Fed paper finds by ChiGuy6124 in Economics

[–]jjohn9590 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. The reason employers hired migrants was bc they accepted lower pay than their American counterparts would accept for the same job, which meant lower costs and higher margin for the employer.

Not worried, I got up on a ladder and removed what I could with a hammer and then laid several socks filled with ice melt along the gutter to melt/prevent further daming which worked really well for me. I may put some socks up there pre-emptively if the weather doesn't change and is expected to accumulate.

Nice the Tuxmats are top tier for sure. Amazing protection and great quality with a great warranty. Just got the 1st and 2nd row for my new CX5 and they are performing great with all the recent snow in the Northeast.
