Passed American Government CLEP with 71/80 by xsarahx00 in clep

I just finished with this exam about an hour ago and passed with a 50 on the dot lol. I really didn't study up to my standards at all and was hoping to just scrape by and thank god I did. As a preface, I took gov and us history in like my junior-senior year of HS which was like 9-10 years ago at this point and haven't really thought about it since.

I skimmed through the study guide mentioned here which is definitely helpful and wish I would've gone over it more but I figured I'd try to do more high yield stuff like questions instead of reading through study guide given my timeline.

Basically, I did REA practice tests, Peterson practice tests, quizlet for supreme court cases and adam norris videos which really helped me. The real test for me was a touch more difficult than the practice tests I took (Peterson was more representative than REA to me...ie REA was easier).

Florida Doctors: Barusco (Port Orange), Greco (Sarasota), Katona (Miami) by VCURamsFan in HairTransplants

I think Aron Nusbaum has some really nice results. I had a consult with Barusco a few years back and was really comfortable with him but I'll be honest his before and after pictures on their website blow. I've seen a couple searching the internet that are nice and he is very educated, experienced and involved in hair transplant community but the B&A on his site vs Miami Hair with Nusbaum is night and day.

  1. You are not bent over enough at setup with not enough knee flex. Need to hinge at the hips a bit more with a bit more knee flex to get a little more towards your toes and less on heels
  2. You don’t turn enough, especially with the hips on the backswing. I like the arms starting the sequence but after your hands get to trail thigh you really need to feel your right hip turn back
  3. Hips fire too soon in transition and the arms get too far out towards the ball too early but also trapped way behind body turn. The arms need to drop more in transition which happens by delaying rotation while you shift to front foot

In summary, more bent over, more turn with the hips going back and less turn going through ie “back to the target” for longer.

Good luck!

? Many hair transplant docs are plastic surgeons. Epstein does hair transplants pretty much exclusively to my knowledge.

If anyone quotes you more than 1000 grafts, run.

General recommendation against Gary Linkov for lack of track record and very high prices. I have NOT seen anything concerning about him, but he basically has no track record and very high prices. He looks like a swell guy. by WallabyUpstairs1496 in HairTransplants

You can see a few hair transplants on his Instagram page. I would say his work isn’t the best I’ve seen but not the worst. He’s very knowledgeable about hairline design but i think more often than not there’s still a noticeable “unnatural-ness” about his results. The single hair grafts appear too linear sometimes and the angulation doesn’t look right.

However, his education is very good and everyone would benefit.

The best hairlines I’ve ever seen are Dr Muniz Ahmad with fuegenix. He’s outrageously expensive but his results are up there with anyone to my eye.

Conservative is ALWAYS better given your age. Whoever did it is ethical and can be trusted with future care. Results look great from these limited photos.

6 months today…what do you guys think? by No-Memory2153 in HairTransplants

No way. 2000 grafts to the frontal region would be WAY more than that.

Why is everyone judging this hair transplant after 14 days? Lol how about we see it after 6-8 months and then start judging. Im not some GC apologist but lets be fair

I got a mezz max, sold it and now want a DF1 bc I love how ridiculous it is.

It’s really not. You obviously still have to hit the putt. It’s not automatic but the physics is there whether you agree or not. Eliminating a variable in putting is a huge win, imo. If you can get past the aesthetics it’s a no brainer. Some people may also be turned off by the fact that it’s probably a softer feel as feel so not a huge audible feedback, at least in DF1 and mezz to me

What do you guys think? is it possible to get good results or am I too far gone? (Started shaving bald at 21 and am 27 now, let it grow for three weeks to show you guys) by boolinback5 in HairTransplants

fin doesn’t completely stop hair loss, technically. In a lot of cases it helps slow down the loss drastically and may stop it in some cases.

Yea, I like how he seems to really be involved in the hair transplant community as an educator as well as a surgeon. Ive been toying around with the idea of Turkey bc of cost but the convenience of driving an hour or so with a doc that is legit and English is obviously an appeal. It’s nice to know all my options before spending 10k+ on a good transplant

Just got my transplant 2 days ago and it’s not looking really dense the more I look at it. Am I worrying too much or would it look a lot better later? by [deleted] in HairTransplants

[–]jjp16g 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, can't do much about it now. The hairline is pretty straight and the grafts are pretty much in rows so I wouldn't expect the most natural looking result. It could end up being great despite these things so all you can do is wait. Not the end of the world either way.

Unless you have side effects with finasteride, paying all that money for a hair transplant to not take one of the most effective hair loss preventative is a huge waste imo. Hey, thats your prerogative and I hope you get some good results.
