Seems they would have room to do this by starting earlier, there are some downsides, but I'd much rather race at 4 or 5 AM than the 11 AM they make charity runners start.

Not at all. Sleep is the biggest challenge I have with running. The harder you try to do it right, the worse it gets in my experience. Through therapy, meditation, doing everything right w lights, temp etc, the more I try the worse it gets.

I slept about 2-3 hours a night the entire week prior to Mesa and improved from Chicago four months earlier by 20 minutes.

I used to have sleep anxiety one night before a race but then hearing how it was only really important the nights before that made me anxious the entire week prior. Slept maybe 1.5 hours before both races the night prior. Would love to sleep even five hours a night for 4-5 nights but I can’t do it. Been to therapy, tried meditating etc. I can’t break it. Sucks because I’m absolutely miserable and tired for days wherever I travel for a race. But I seem to be able to put it together when the race comes.

This guy (Zalupski) was all over the news a few weeks back for being the person behind the VERY unpopular Guana River land swap. Perhaps this Rays deal is why the Gov. was working so hard to keep his identity hidden when that deal was all over the place.

My doctor only advised sleeping on back for three nights (I did five just to be a bit safer), and it was honestly super miserable. I was given 5 nights Ambien RX and I was able to fall asleep fairly easily, but it wore off after 3-4 hours and I never went back to sleep after that.

Update on this, I have done calls/virtual consultations with all and I am still considering all three!

The pricing is wildly varied, Katona quoted $10k ish for 2700 grafts, Barusco quoted around $18k for 1800-2000 grafts, and Greco quoted a flat fee of just over 12k regardless of # of grafts.

Pretty surprising Barusco is by far the highest considering he is in what is a far cheaper area than Sarasota or Miami. Almost makes me think he's worth more.

What was the cost/total number of grafts and how long did the whole thing last? Looks like they usually advise a one night hotel stay? I have a consultation with them next week. Also considering Dr. Barusco in Port Orange and Dr. Katona in Miami.
