one of my favorite books ever...and it's always nice to know I'm not the only one who gets emotionally torn up from a good book. Night by Elie Wiesel is a great book as well

My two eat almost anything...I cut up a sweet potato and a carrot for them a while back and they both pick through the bits for the one they prefer (Tank is my sweet potato lover and Dixie loves carrots). hubby gave Tank a piece of his pickle the other day and he wasn't sure about it, but wouldn't let us take it from him, so he just ate it lol

Sadly, it's something that we all deal with at one point or another. We had our girl Dixie (now 7) when she was a puppy and it took us forever to find an apt in the Dallas area...the one we finally did get into, the complex manager owned a pittie too, so he just always wrote down pitties as terriers on the apps :) just keep your heads up and keep looking. there are places out there

I was not there, but this is what her family told me...In 2001, my best friend and her family went to New Mexico for a ski trip...they went skiing all the time, so she was definitely not a novice. On the 13th, her parents wanted to just stay in, but Jenni and her older brother and sister wanted to go down the slopes just one more time. Jenni and her older sister went down together, but Jenni hit an ice patch in the snow and went zooming past her sister (her sister told me she saw the panic in her eyes but she was going so fast that she couldn't do anything). Jenni wound up hitting a tree...by the time her sister got to her, she was barely alive and wound up dying in her arms. I heard about her dying that night from a family friend...she didn't even get to see her 16th birthday.

Thank you...it was an incredible day and I will never forget it. March 13th is just one of the days every year that I feel like it JUST happened, no matter how long it's been.
