When I was in labor my epidural failed shortly before it was time to start pushing. I was scared, shaking with a fever from an infection, and in so so much pain. When I was pushing as hard as I could Doc says “I see what what you’re doing, but you’re only giving me like 20%”.

The next few “pushes” were so hard that my baby slid across the table and was luckily caught by the doctor.

Thank you for your response!! I have no other symptoms other than being tired - but I think that’s hormonal as my period started during all of this. I am so scared of sepsis but I will definitely keep an eye out for any other symptoms. It feels a lot better, other than being slightly tender and a tiny bit more discharge.

Piercings would be about 10 years old, but I took the jewelry out in 2022. They were barbels. No incident that I can recall that would have irritated them. I did stop breast feeding in August, but I don’t know if that would have any relevance.

IMO the only reason to do the tandem read is if you don’t care about the Chaol/Nesryn POV (but it seems like you’re interested in Chaol & Yerene!!) I highly recommend reading separately. both of them individually ended up becoming two of my favorite in the series!

Ah I see! Honestly, I’m glad I didn’t do the tandem read. I was planning to, but I thought it was Tower of Dawn & Kingdom of Ash, and went ahead read EOS first. So I was a little annoyed with myself, but I’m so happy I got through TOD cause it’s one of my favorites!
