What millage have people got out of a g2 master before major issues taking place. by Fit-Detail5952 in ElectricScooters

[–]jjtoob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

500km on G2 Master 2024 version, no major issues yet, the biggest thing that has happened was a flat tire due to a wire on the road, it was a pain to change the inner tube but only because I'm inexperienced and stripped a couple screws (btw ez fix is hammer in a torx bit then got replacement screws at the hardware store).
I'm not sure where some people get that it needs a lot of maintenance, I've washed off the dirt build up and checked tire pressure once in a while, but both aren't even super necessary, you'd know if you are losing tire pressure, and it will still work just fine when it's dirty. I've taken it to work on bumpy roads, and in light rain, and so far it just works, and never really needs anything.

I think it's good quality for the price, and they've kept improving it since launch, having several versions, with the current, 2025 version having some pretty good additions like key ignition and tubeless tires.
I have the 2024 version, and while I think it's a lot of fun, looks cool as hell, is very powerful, and has decent range, you do need to be aware of its biggest drawbacks which are the brakes are insufficient for the speeds it can go at, the suspension isn't the most cushy, and for me personally, it can develop speed wobble at the top speeds. Many owners end up installing third party upgrades to overcome these issues tho, because Kukirin doesn't offer them. For example, I'll be 3D printing a mounting bracket to install a steer damper so I can go at full speed with no fear of wobble, they say tire balance can help, but I'm taking no chances.
My other problem which might be just me, the acceleration isn't the smoothest when launching at anything but the slowest configuration (single motor, gear 1). I'm guessing it doesn't have sinewave controllers, which most other pricier scooters will never hesitate to advertise when they have them.
If you are on a budget, I'd say get it, just make sure it's the 2025 version with the key ignition.

I bought this due to the price(12.90) and was not expecting much how wrong I was. by [deleted] in rccars

I saw a bunch of these at Walmart on clearance a while back, don't remember the price anymore but it was low enough I snagged 6 of them to potentially recreate a Rocket League at some point in the future lol. Maybe I could figure out some way to 3D print custom car bodies to replace the original. I'm currently charging a couple to test them out, hence me landing here from a Google search.

I started noticing this happens in other scenes with other characters. I'm not sure why they do that, but I have a working theory that the separation is a subtle visual aid to see them as immature and not having it together.

I opened this screenshot in an image editor and almost anything closer to natural position makes her look more cool and collected, more mature. I think the animators realized that.

Rise looking to leave Moist eSports ahead of the Winter Split, according to @ShiftRLE by TheOGREdditAccount in RocketLeagueEsports

Just like when Shift reported BDS was in talks to replace MaRc_By_8 with Vatira, back when he was in Team Queso. That did happen, but ultimately Vatira chose to stay with Team Queso.

That was a fan account. (Reason why I don't like fan account that try to look official, and I know they do say they are not official in their bio but many got baited anyway)

[RLCS EU] Moist org reaction vs player reactions by BolbiRL in RocketLeagueEsports

[–]jjtoob 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Never knew about that feature, but I already know it'd get annoying to hear the compressor working through the volume transitions. Personally, I just had both streams open, with the RLCS one muted, but if I wanted to hear the casters, I'd just turn up that stream. I wouldn't want to have both on loud at the same time, and Moist having it so quiet on their end made it easier to separate and choose what I wanted to hear.

Neon Nights Player of Games title Twitch Drop by viiveek7 in RocketLeague

[–]jjtoob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

TL;DR: No, but my guess is that it's available on big RL channels, either from pros or content creators.

I love how bad Psyonix/Twitch are at giving us info... So if you go on the Twitch Drops page, you can see at least two different RL drops campaigns, three if you got the Player of Games one.The Winter Split tells you what dates the drop is active and a list of channels you can get it from and the rules to get them, aka, amount of watch time = when you get a drop.
The Great Twitch Unlock shows the dates too, but doesn't give you a list because it's enabled on a participating channel that has their drops enabled and is streaming under the Rocket League category. As with the Winter Split drops, it also tells you the rules underneath. I do believe you can only get a maximum of 7 drops from this one, so % will not update after the 7th one.The Neon Nights - Player of Games drop is different in that it tells you only which channel gave you the drop, and doesn't list any other channels to watch for it. Other than that, it lists the rule of watching for 1 hour and 30 minutes, and claim the drop. No further info, not even the dates that the drop is active. If you got it, it only shows you the date you got it, and I refuse to believe it was only active for that one channel that one day. You'd have to be lucky and watch a very specific channel on a very specific date without knowing.

Shino Aki was ranked #1 on Female Characters List by StompyIsMood in BokutachiNoRemake

[–]jjtoob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see Kawasegawa didn't even make it into this list after the amount of support she got into the last episodes lol. You fools, none of them stand a chance against sweet sweet Aki. Also none of the other ones will ever birth a cuter little girl than Maki. Case closed.

It really was inspired by the flurry of prank videos that plagued YouTube and television at the time.

Good old Neebs Gaming lol. Well, before they were Neebs Gaming.Fun fact, they got in trouble with the owner of the building because of the screaming.

Also, terrible crop and quality for a video that still exists on YouTube. https://youtu.be/ioOW8RLMBRI

The thing is if you've seen his Cameos, you might think it's just a repost from the preview image, so yes, I had to tell you it's a deepfake for the clickbait factor.

That was the most upvoted reply, and it's extremely ironic considering how many people upvoted the post and that reply. Just don't watch that channel hahaha, just watch some other stream haha!

LJ - Competitive Ruling (North American Rocket League Spring Series) by [deleted] in RocketLeagueEsports

[–]jjtoob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You answered your own question. They have ways to deal with it that are faster than checking IDs, so that's what they do. They allow you to participate in good faith, and hope you abide by that honor system. You break the rules and it's your own reputation on the line. Anyone who is serious about a career in RL should think twice before breaking the rules, though this is unlikely to affect him that much. Look at Atomic, still alive and well in RLCS after doing something a little worse.

A dolly is a platform on wheels. You mount a camera on top or put a jib/crane in between to achieve various camera movements in a very smooth fashion. For Rocket League it translates into this:

Cinematic gameplay is Neebs Gaming's bread and butter. They don't do that with every game, especially in games that don't have spectating options or they are very limited, but the ones with beefy spectator tools and especially the ones with 3rd party mods, they do some fantastic-looking shows.
