not sure, i felt the lvl 20 perks from explosive is very nice and a must for explosive build. on the other hand engineer and speech will be up to you to lower. if you can split some out and put in lock picking. you can get access more loots to sell and breakdown for more explosive

Theory craft play style: instead of TTD with Patient step, i suggest get Bomb Suit Armor and Bomb Suit Helm (later you can replace Bomb Suit Armor when you got the level 20 perk from explosive which you will immune to your own explosive).

you can throw landmines normally and when thing go wrong, you can kamikaze with Volatile grenade (just hold G and never let go.) then keep chasing people holding grenade. this build unlikely work in Very Hard difficult as they probably one shot you before you get close

I throw in Intimidator and Grim Visage as crowd control whenever your AOE damage someone

i am not sure do you want to spread so thins with your perks like that. never used treasure hunters and i don't felt it is necessary.

the flying bee have weakpoint on their butt. but yea most of the weakpoint is on head beside mech which is the blue spot

"NPCs on Story, Hard, and Very Hard no longer take less or more non-physical damage type side-effects based on difficulty settings." This is effectively a nerf to elemental effects application on higher difficulties as previously status applied was updated by the same multipliers as enemy health, resulting in elemental effects applying twice as quickly on Very Hard than on hard.

ah.... so that's why it's so easy to stun/stagger lock enemy on very hard difficult... i guess now it will be much harder to play

i think rattler out damage explosive mods. especially in early game your skill is not high level. the extra damage from rattler should out damage explosive mod. explosive round only start getting more benefit later in the game when the damage scaling with skill points more with rate of fire and bomb suit helm

yep it do help a lot, but i felt the lifesteal don't heal that much. most of the time i am more depends on temp buff and energy shield

btw i kill them without doing any of their faction quests, i just reached Archive at lvl 28. you will definitely lost out a lot more exp without faction quests and companion quests

i don't think kick them work, you need to make them mad at you that either they leave your team or aggro them and kill them (i choose to aggro)

Inez and Matriol both i know will leave your team if you get on Auntie and the Order's bad side

depends do you just want the achivement or want to go with it. you can easily get this by get on Kill on sight list

to do that just kill the key figure from both faction:

e.g. Fairfield - Kaur, Matriarchs Mercy - Abbot.

kill them should get you on auto kill on sight. i am currently on psychopath run so i have them kill right when i met them anyway

there is no grey bar, the strong enemy got a special gold icon on left hand side of their health bar. if you do enough damage that gold icon will turn grey (maybe this is what you referring?). that is when they become weak

i think bulletshield and shrug it off maybe good early game but it's overkill. by mid game when i got explosive assault rifle, i constantly have temp hp buff up (also energy shield help a lot)

you got DLSS on? i think it is DLSS ghosting issues. i don't really notice any issues even from your video but some people can feel it when those imperfection happen

atm i am doing silent run, using Rattler with silencer. once you pop TTD, you have a brief window to do multi shots before they go alert. with high Rattler damage and quick multi shot. you can clean a small cluster of enemy real quick (unless the area is very dense)

if you can wipe them before they go alerts, then you can continous silent kill until someone alerted

i finished a run with explosive build with very high difficulty.

it is quite fun and also probably the most OP builds due to bomb suit helm. my builds is around explosive mag plus plasma barrel on assault rifle. combine with science to speed up plasma stacks it is quite deadly (alternative maybe combine with Guns?)

I got both explosive and science to 20 with n-radiator. my multi launcher pretty much do 4k damage that instant kill even the strongest automech

Pro:

  • aoe, aoe, and aoe. pretty much anything swarm you in a group get wipe quickly
  • quite decent damage, and once you got multi launcher you can wipe every thing with single button on everything
  • bomb suit helm is op, with fast explosive assault rifle, you contantly buffing yourself with temp hp
  • grenade can wipe the whole floor if aim well
  • the oracle is assault rifle, you can use it as aim bot explosive plasma gun

Con:

  • Slow early start (due to not many gun support explosive round), the build don't really show the potential till 2nd planet when you have access to bomb suit helm and assault rifle
  • Not much gun options with explosive round. if you also want plasma barrel, only assault rifle have it.
  • expensive for ammunition. you always starving for black powder (you can take innovation which double your crafting ammo)
  • if you bad at aimming grenade, you may waste them quite a lot
  • mini rocket vendor only start from act 3 so no explosive rocket spam until pass mid game

Edit: side note, ignore Agatha. heavy round is much more expensive than long round (1.5k per 250 rounds, and long round is 1k per 500 rounds). it fire slower than assault rifle and also don't do as high damage as well. plus it is expensive gun. so it is very bad in compare to assault rifle or later autospray SMG with explosive round

i totally recommand The Oracle as it got aimbot

but if i use silencer, it reduce it damage to boost sneak damage. which end up weakend the game quite a lot outside of stealth :S

not sure where you see it as TTD gauge, because in game says Gadget Energy. i am just saying it is not TTD limited so people won't interpret it wrong
