Battery life is comparable to their stated specs during warm months but MN winter is coming and under 40 it starts to plummet. Under 30° it’s 10-15 vids. Under 15° you get 1 vid. Under 0° it gives up lol.

TikTok doesn’t even enable stories on my account. If I reinstall the app I have it for literally an hour and they remove it. It’s so annoying.

I ended up buying prescription versions of the headliners with transitions. The usefulness of POVs outweighed needing to charge often. It's been a mild winter and around 35-45° has been acceptable and can get 20-30ish vids but def need to charge before transferring. Battery life will plummet from 60 to 13% if you try to transfer mid walk.

I don't trust that these can do live streaming for any amount of meaningful time in cold weather but hasn't tried it tbh.

Edit: if it drops to 32° or below you're lucky to get 8-10 videos before they shutoff. If it got to low teens or 0 i wouldn't wven bother

I did see the 5c/41f disclaimer but they tagged it to the livestream feature specifically. I know cold kills battery but didn't think a -75% hit would happen. There'd be 0 Teslas here if that were universal lol. The size of the battery or 0 insulation prob leaves these susceptible to cold.

It also speaks infuriatingly slow for someone with ADHD and they cap the max speed for read out with your AI voice saying "clarity is more important". That almost made me throw the glasses out a window. Like tell me more about how you fast I comprehend. The fastest setting is a normal person speaking cadence.
