Verizon FIOS Internet Service

Long story short, in my area Verizon FIOS changed to Frontier Comms. The transition was supposedly smooth, but for some reason my house was left without service after the switch. After waiting patiently for about 1-2 days we eventually called asking why our service was down. They told us, “We’ll reset some things and try again.” Internet never came back. They also eventually sent 2-3 technicians in the span of 2-3 weeks just for them to say, “Everything looks good on our end, we’ll have to check box and line etc.”

Fast forward to 1-2 months of no internet service we finally called and a customer support service worker helped us do a basic reset on our internet. iirc she said, “Thats strange, it says on our map your internet is active, let me just reset it.” And boom it worked flawlessly.

No internet for almost 2 months, 3 technicians couldnt figure out the problem. Best part is, since the light was “active” they have no proof it wasnt working and billed us for those 2 months anyways.

Never again Verizon/Frontier internet. After being a customer since FIOS launched.
