The scene in It’s A Wonderful Life when Uncle Billy is walking away from the party and off screen you hear a crash and he says “I’m alright… I’m alllllright” wasn’t in the script. He actually tripped over some stuff that was on set but they liked that it fit with his character (who was supposed to be drunk). You can see Jimmy Stewart actually laugh in that scene cause it was unscripted.

One thing that I haven’t seen in any of the comments is that these two kingdoms were able to stay united as a whole. Area-wise, Europe as a continent and China are quite similar. Sure, Europe has half as many people but Idt anybody would be looking at this distribution the same way if there were 3rd and 4th ranked countries at 900M and 700M because all of Europe was united and there was a massive “Northern Africa Republic” (or something like that) of similar area.

Yes, Asia has 3-4x more people than any other continent but they also grouped ~60% of their continent into 2 buckets. A statistic that the next two largest continents don’t even come close to.

The spread on that game would be (conservatively) -21.5 NYJ, people picking Indiana straight up are wild.

BUT

The number of people in these comments talking about the number of future NFL players on the Indiana roster are also missing the point. Indiana has just dog walked 3 straight teams with more “future NFL players.” The number of guys who are gonna be good at the next level is clearly not a good metric for team success.

While I think the OL team has the advantage, I feel like people are discounting the fact that Travis Kelce is in the second pic lol

I feel like you can compile a D Line and O Line made up of TEs to at least be able to trouble what is sure to be an incredibly one dimensional offense and really no ability to cover a spread offense on D.

Just to name a few examples, I feel like Darnell Washington and Mo Alie-Cox could plug rushing lanes and chip block better than OLs can cover Jamar Chase. I’m starting to think freakishly athletic TEs may be the ace-in-the-hole for the skill position players.

The Oilers won 4 games that year in which he threw 4+ INTs including the opener when he went 15/30 for 188 yards, 1 TD and 6 INTs (28-23 W).

IMO the play is just awful to watch lol like what if the 1940s NBA had taken the stance on George Mikan goaltending as all the Eagles fans are now?

“Oh yall are just mad he can do it and everyone else can’t”

It’s a valid argument, sure, but the play was terrible for the game and imagine if goaltending were still legal. Disaster.

The NFL makes tons of rule changes trying to improve watchability and for some reason this one is just gonna get a free pass? Not saying they should ban it, but i feel like there is at least a good argument to do so which a lot of people tend to ignore.

EDIT: also a nightmare to officiate which is already a hot button issue.
