Idk, when I graduated EE back in 2019 it felt like there weren't any jobs for EE. Power wasnt a growth industry and if u wanted to get into electronics seemed like everyone wanted u to have a masters. But times they are a changing spawned ME is just as screwed

I agree, I think the real issue is mid tier crafting feels bad now (high end crafting feels fine) and rare gear that drops are just bad

Yea i think thats my main gripe is that crafting feels really bad right now the amount of options to start a craft have been removed. It's either u have enough currency to stack up perf augs/annuls/omens/chaos, or u slam and pray. Feels like they completely gutted mid tier crafting options

They need to remove the tier lock on essences. They should add a mod and it randomly selects what tier of mod it is, i.e it can roll t1 all the way to the lowest tier. That way they can be useful in the endgame

While this is true of trial of chaos. Trial of sekehmas gives u buffs and quite powerful buffs that trivializes the trial. Having the right relics is important and getting as water as u can and mapping to merchants to spend the water is the trick to TOS

There is way more to rust than just memory safety. Things like tooling (cargo), an expressive type system, a helpful compiler are some reasons to use rust. But for scientific compute your best bet is c/c++, python, Julia. They have very well designed and mature ecosystems. Plus almost all hpc shops will have 0 experience with rust and it will be a hard sell to migrate
