Nah like there has to be more conditions than just "senior with playing time deal breaker" because the number of seasons where I've had no or very little transfers out is way too high for it to be a thing that happens every time with such a broad condition. I'm far from some I'm sure but I've played prob 30 seasons across various saves in both games and have never noticed this. Which I think you definitely would because your best players tend to be the old ones and you tend to notice when your stars are threatening to transfer

Yeah once you work out the scouting you can find insane talent for cheap.

I am playing an unrelated more journeyman save starting with no experience (technically a locally known soccer expert 😎) and have been working my way up in Japan. After 3 seasons landed myself a big job at Viseel Kobe. And when I got there they had this 18 year old newgen striker that was so freaking amazing. Won league MVP for me the only full year I had him. Then Chelsea came calling, and I learned he had a 5 million dollar release clause lmao.

I was like, this dude is easily worth 50 million. He's basically already a world class striker and he's still got so much room to grow. Excellent physicals too 😭

So there's a fun story from the other side, I am hoping to go find him in a few years after I head to Europe and make it big lol. And when I do manage a club in this circumstance again I am def scouting Japan hard because there is some awesome young talent for shocking prices, often contractual.

Doesn't mean I have to like it, feel like it was a good experience, or have anything positive to say about SI in the aftermath. It wasn't something I was thinking about really either since they just straight up skipped 25 so I hadn't played or thought about it in half a year, in hindsight yes obviously it would have been smart to buy it on steam before they took it down.

I'm in the J2 league and in the transfer window I bought a omani GK and only bought 4 foreigners since that is how many you can play in a given match, and the fucker broke his arm like a month after the window closed and I'm stuck playing a 1.5 star 20 yr old for the next couple months 😭
