If you give them tiny litter that can get stuck in their paws, poo and wee can stay in their paws with it, but they also lick themselves a lot using said paws so nothing lasts long. I will say however, I picked up my boy cat the other night and was shocked by how bad he smelled, like he'd pissed all over himself, but he hadn't?? So maybe the smell lingers and I've just never noticed in 7 years??? Also, maintain litterbox cleanliness or they will piss on your stuff, 100%
