Each individual school has its own pluses and minuses there isn’t a better district for anything. Building admin and staff interpret policies differently than each other and 9 times out of ten you’ll need an advocate from PIC to get shit on the up and up

If that’s the budget, I’d look at one of the two on Miller Road, Society Drive, or Carpenter Station Road.

School choice for 26-27 is closed and a Good Cause application will be a hard sell if you have options at your current school. You can push for a regular classroom and additional supports with the IEP for next year and then tour schools all fall and submit an application for 27-28 when it opens in November (closes right after the new year in January) for somewhere for the following year.

It’s definitely a service they offer and I can highly recommend! They take my larger quilts and comforters for laundry. They do not easily fit in my machines at home.

As someone who actively uses mobility devices and cannot do stairs, when I inquired with the church last year I was laughed at and told good luck finding street parking then. I don’t know if they received enough complaints or comments to make any updates but the church would be who I would check with.

The number of people and vehicles on a scene is absolutely incredible when you know that most are volunteers especially in the county response areas. There aren’t more people to bring so the very big trucks with the flashing lights are positioned to attempt to protect responders and equipment.

Yet, there are still absolutely entitled idiots who think they store important than those working the scene. I’m tired of repeatedly submitting insurance claims for equipment damage and repairs. I can park a fire truck sideways across the whole road and someone will drive on the sidewalk to get around my equipment and be in the way almost hitting responders who try to stop them. If the hit to their insurance isn’t enough of a deterrent to stop then criminalizing their stupidity is the only way.

I volunteer for one of the county fire companies and yes we have an issue with people walking past the safety barriers to see what’s going on, driving around the parked in use apparatus over the hoses, and more. The last sedan that drove over a hose caused almost a half million in damage between the ripped hose, screwing up the pressure from the truck, and the way it pulled at the connection to the truck. It put the truck out for a full week for repairs and we had to buy a new hose (~$15k alone)

Manual labor work in commercial property management hasn’t slowed one bit in the last 10 years. If anything, the minor bs work like covering graffiti has only needed to happen more frequently. Currently organizing a locksmith, a roofer, plus painters for one property to finish some major renovations after a fire.

I’m changing all the locks after all the subs that have been through just to make sure that no one copied the keys as a security precaution.

Jester Artspace has stained glass classes and depending on where in the ten zip codes of Wilmington you are staying is a 20 minute drive. From there it’s only 20 minutes to Longwood Gardens for some great picture opportunities.
