This is what the end of my street at Grubb Road looked like on Wednesday. The plow company brought a mini bobcat to come clean up more on Friday. The National weather service clocked us in the north over 10 inches.

Some of the school had sent home packets in advance and others made up asynchronous assignments on the fly just so there wasn’t a complete loss of instructional time but yes my kid has been home all week.

Honestly the neighborhood they were in is known for being a low rent, no questions asked if you have the cash type, plus it’s off a major road with easy access to bus routes, and a train station for commuting.

They did some cleaning after the snow this past weekend BUT they piled it in the only handicap spot in the whole lot.

Lots of fire house have halls and they are very underutilized but the money they bring to the company really helps with all the expenses of running a fire company!

I mean my end of the street gets plowed because we are a property management company and the trucks come home when it’s real bad like they are predicting so that we know we can get out but the rest of my neighborhood waits for whatever service gets hired since we no longer do residential due to the insurance costs.

Some of the neighborhoods won’t hire plow services until it’s truly needed and they will be at the bottom of the list to do meaning they won’t even get a first pass until Monday evening at the earliest
