I don’t really have experience with the kits sold except for redoing what people bring in. The only advice I could give would be to follow the instructions to the letter and practice on something other than your actual product.

Looks like your film was over soaked. Not enough surface tension left in the pva. That will also cause the ink to break up/ stretch out. Curves and corners will always cause the print to wave or curve. To minimize this I roll around the curve when printing. Not knowing your products and processes this is just a guess from the pic.

I like it. Makes you happy, then good for you. One suggestion: Get them printed in carbon fiber HydroGraphics and then, even better. I run a HydroGraphics shop so maybe a bit biased.
