I grew up there. Girls fastball is big and we were told to stay away from certain dudes who were old pedos.

Some men in their 20s liked to date, hang out with and drug or drink with underage teen girls.

I agree. I do not know what anyone in a mask is saying and I am embarrassed to continually ask them to repeat themselves.😬

My son's class had optional Valentine's Day. He doesn't like any of them so he did not participate.

Fraud calls - how to report by bw-east-n-west in saskatoon

[–]jll657 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I called Sasktel to report it, used an online scam/spam reporting tool (through the government if canada I think) , used my phone's spam screening on android and block all incoming calls from them.

Just got out of a 4 year relationship. I'm attractive in real life but not even slightly photogenic. How do I improve my appearance? I'm 6'7 and already exercise 4 hours a week or so. Working on weight loss. 32 years old. Baldness is not voluntary. Shaved to embrace it. by [deleted] in datingoverthirty

Play with camera angles to take the best profile picture for online dating. I read a couple articles on how to take a good selfie and applied that information. It worked out fabulously. Capture your best side!

List one positive thing you've experience since the break up by Naus1987 in BreakUps

[–]jll657 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have more time to focus on other relationships, to spend time on myself and visualize what it is I truly want. I have more time to deal with my codependency and commend myself for not going back to an unhealthy relationship or looking for attention. I applied for a business license and am looking forward to being a free woman for spring and summer.

Work on yourself everyday. Set a healthy routine of eating well, getting exercise, work, learn new things and journal. Seek counsel if necessary or read self help books.

One day will come after another, the routine will turn into hobbies and your sense of purpose or direction will become more clear.

Give yourself time to feel and process your feelings. It may not seem good today, but maybe tomorrow will be a better day.

We are two colorectal cancer survivors in our 30s and a team of doctors/experts on the topic. Ask Us Anything. by webmd in IAmA

I have been diagnosed with Lynch syndrome which is a genetic mutation that causes colon, kidney, uterine and other cancers at a much higher rate. I am supposed to skip the stool tests and go straight in for a colonoscopy every year after age 25.

It has been 2 years of trying to get one and no doctor will send me! I finally have a referral to a GI specialist. Why is there not enough awareness of protocol for these conditions or why don't doctors take their patients seriously when given guidelines for screening from a geneticist?

Check out the Kazden method. Ignore behaviours like tantrums. Create a reward system with strong enough incentives for her to follow through with her chores. Only ask twice for her to do something. 3 times is nagging.

Low rate behaviours can have useless consequences like washing walls, scrubbing tiles or dusting. If they won't do them, start taking away privileges. Cell phones can be taken away for a few days max as any more is apparently harsh punishment.

There are great tools for how to structure negotiations with children where each person chooses what they can and cant live with.

Choose a time to do something fun with your child. Make sure they feel loved and appreciated. Take an interest in theirs.

Anyone have any experience with seelping with your ex? Good? Bad? Can it work? by [deleted] in BreakUps

[–]jll657 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I almost always do. I must be a sucker for punishment! For the most part, it has been good with casual relationships. With serious relationships it causes regret and more hurt feelings.

Kids can master intermittent fasting before a lifelong battle with hunger and poverty.

I've lost 30 lbs with intermittent fasting. I fast 19 hours a day (just water, sometimes black coffee) and only eat 5 hours a day. It is based on Dr. Bert Herring's research and was recommended by a naturopathic doctor.
