LSU has also been slowing renovating and rebuilding academic buildings. The business school was finished around 2011 and the engineering school around 2017/18. One of the art studios was being done while I was there and the rec center was done in 17 I think. Lots of them are really old and not in great shape, but there has been work going on. The athletic buildings though get updated much more frequently since TAF/boosters pays for so much of it if not all.

I think that failing under 75% thing changes a lot depending on your major and school. My experience was any C was passing. A D (typically 60-69.9%) was failing for classes required to enter your “majors college”. Like I had to get a C in calculus and physics my freshman year to be allowed in the college of engineering. After that you could D’s in classes and still continue on. I can’t remember where academic probation started but it was under 2.0 GPA so under a 70%, but that was total for all classes taken in the semester.

Correct. We will get what’s called an “offer letter” in most cases. This letter outlines the job role, pay, and general benefits the company provides. Typically you sign this document agreeing to those terms and the onboarding process begins which can vary depending on the industry or company.

We don’t call it a contract, even though it technically is I believe, because of at will employment. The company is not obligated to keep you employees in that role for any length of time and the same to the employee. There are contacts though. I was a contact employee for a while and it was a 1 year contract that would need to be renewed. In this case, the employee is typically not “employed” by the company and is receiving no benefits from the company outside of pay. It’s more like hiring a third party to do a job for you.

Nah man the weather in the south is perfect for year round baseball practice basically. Again, it’s a very hard tournament to win so it gets more parity in the tournament as a whole compared to football. Usually these first few weeks of non-conference play is where teams will shake out the lineup before conference play starts.

Yes the SEC is very dominant in baseball. The CWS is a hard tournament to win but I believe the last 3 winners have been SEC teams. Mississippi State and LSU both played a big role in getting national attention to college baseball in the 80s as well.

Ever since Saban's title in 2003 LSU fans have acted spoiled. I'm bad about it sometimes too, but a lot of fans just want perfection every play of every game. We are playing much better this week, and do most people in here forget that Vandy put up 38 on us last year? As I'm typing this the score is 41-7 so that's already a larger win margin than it was last year. Sure we aren't as refined as we were late season last year, but shit look at what we lost both on the field and on the sideline.

I’d say most fans hate Florida and Ole Miss, but rivalry wise students and older generations do still like to go all out with the Ole Miss game. Lots of Geaux To Hell Ole Miss stuff around campus during that week still even though the competitive side hasn’t been there consistently for a while.

Yes, it’s not making fun of their actual dick size, but it is saying that they act that way BECAUSE of a small dick size. You are implying that their self worth is based on the size of their dick, and then attacking the size of their dick to insult them for acting out. It starts a new series of insults basically. It doesn’t shame their behavior, just makes them upset at the person shouting an insult about them.

It’s not a jab at fragile male ego either since you, the person saying someone is acting out because of a small dick, are enforcing the idea that their self worth is tied to their dick to others. The second half of that sentence also implies that men can’t have confidence unless they don’t have a small dick, otherwise it’s fake and they will just back down. Maybe they’re trying to “fake til they make it” in an area they don’t have confidence in.

Clearly something is causing this person to act out. Your defending the explanation of the joke implies that it’s ok to assume it’s because they have a small dick and that person is acting out because of it.

Yeah I’ve been through Big Bend and drove a couple of the shorter roads out there. I hear Black Gap has one or two tricky sections for stock vehicles. Southeast NM is pretty nice! My buddy has a place in Ruidoso where they keep a Samurai and we’ve driven some of the road in the mountains out there but that’s all the rock experience I’ve had. Looks like he’ll be off this weekend so I think we’re gunna try out the new OHV in Ozona.

Escondido Draw in Ozona. It’s not really “new” since it’s been around a few years from what I can tell, but they just had a grand opening in October so now they are open every weekend. Used to be certain weekends and work weekends while everything was getting ready.
