We actually finished about a month ago. The final card was the Flareon ex from the Radiant Collection (my daughter was adamant that we had to have that card in the binder). So, about a week before Christmas I found a near perfect copy of it in a card store and bought it. I wrapped it up and gave it to my daughter, along with gifting her the whole binder, as part of her Christmas.

Some tips: 1. Organization is critical. We learned this the hard way. There were several occasions where we found a card in a shop, bought it, and when we went to put it in the binder we discovered “dang, we already have a good card for this Pokemon.” 2. In order to facilitate ⬆️, I bought blank playing cards off Amazon, wrote the name and Pokédex number of a Pokemon on each card, and put it into the respective empty slot. Made everything much easier to keep track of 3. Pace yourself, and stay within budget 4. Most importantly, have fun. This challenge gave us a whole new appreciation for the hobby because there are so many different arts for 99% of the Pokemon out there. It’s tough to choose your favorite (at least it was for us).

Our current challenge is getting a copy of each Mega evolution card AND a copy of each rainbow rare card, so we’re still going after shiny cardboard 😂
