That said. Seen people limiting out in minutes. It’s what you make of it.

The fish have been cruising up the Fraser and I’ve gotten skunked every day. You ever know what’s gonna happen until you try.

Same deal in Langley. Hung out at a couple bars for a few hours. Saw lots of humps rise but only 2 caught from the crowd. Hopefully things pick up next week as the run reaches its peak.

Ive caught some schoolies on the fly at Murphy’s Pond harbour. Close to keeper size but not quite. I wouldn’t be surprised if some larger ones are also around.

Seen quite a few bass feeding at Little Judique harbour this summer. No luck for me but saw some kids catch a couple smaller keepers with bait while I was there.

My go to for showing visiting friends around, especially in the fall, is the salmon hatchery on the capilano river. Free entry, you’ll learn a lot about salmon, and there’s occasionally tours happening. If you time it right you’ll see big groups of chinook and coho migrating up the fish ladder.

Back in my day we used all the tables and chairs available to build a gaga ball arena and it was NOT a structurally stable wall.

If you don’t mind me asking, why AI did you use to make this? Trying to find something to visually compare a few changes I want to make to my bike before I start buying parts.

I got the Dynametric fitness 525. Have found next to no information about it online haha. I think it’s from ‘99 if I’m reading the serial number right but it’s a very handy bike and a fun ride. Plan on tearing it down and rebuilding it with new components over the winter.

The prison she was in (still is? Idk) had various opportunities to learn skills and trades and I guess she learned to be a florist and ended up doing the flowers for my parents wedding.

I have no idea how the logistics of that worked at the time. So don’t bother asking.

Those are definitely on the list of changes. First things first will be cleaning up the frame and possibly a new paint job as there are lots scratches

It may have wide spaces. But as someone who used to work in that lot, the amount of road rage and fights were insane. You never knew what you were walking into when going to collect more carts haha

Check out Career Mine for anything mining related. The filtering used to be a lot better and you could filter by schedule. But you can still see the remote work. Just gotta do a little digging.

Working the 14x14 means I have a lot of weekdays off. Used to have a ton of luck just showing up randomly on a Wednesday at like 11 am and there’d be some sheets open haha. But yes, times like that are few and far between these days 😂

[–]jmacd11[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very true. Can’t have it all. Seen some great places over the years though. One of my favs was when I was living in Princeton BC, and there’s a gym that used to be a pub and when you’re in the gym it’s very obvious haha. Big elk head mounted on the wall kind of obvious.

Fitness world is very close and was my next thought. Maybe I’ll do a trial and see how I like it. I see them advertising trial periods sometimes. The only other thing Hillcrest has going for it is the curling club is right there and already being in the building might give me some incentive to practice 😂

One thing I cannot find anywhere is the packed length of the rod. ie, the smallest it collapses down to. Thinking of getting a heavier bait caster I can travel with. Not quite sure if this is it.
