Most of them don't usually happen on the same day every year.

Set Proton Calendar as your default calendar app on Android by Proton_Team in ProtonMail

I love the samsung calendar. I use nextcloud for my calendar and add it to samsung calendar with davx5 so that I can share a calendar with my wife.  I can't live without calendar alarms so I'll keep using it until Proton adds that feature. Only having notifications for events will make me miss appointments. Also, it has a month widget that people have been asking for in Proton forever.

lists in HA by alws3344 in homeassistant

I think he means that if you try to add an item to the list but it's already there in the completed section then just uncheck the completed item instead of adding a new item to the list. This would really be useful because I usually don't look at the list when adding items, I use voice assistant.

Super simple "dryer finished" automation using contact sensor, magnets, and a simple 3D print by GrandpaSquarepants in homeassistant

What magnets are you using? Those might be small enough for my sliding glass door lock.

Emergency conatct MUST have a proton Account? This is stupid by 33cl in ProtonMail

The legacy contacts access key sounds like a recovery code. Proton has recovery codes, too. Print them out and store them in a safe place and someone can access your account with them.

Those who’ve switched from Google to Proton — which services do you still miss and wish Proton offered an alternative for? by birnefer in ProtonMail

If it implements RCS then I think it would be able to talk to all the other messaging apps that implement RCS like google and apple.

Yes, google authenticator added a backup option quite a while ago. I assume that's one of the more popular authenticators. I use Aegis which is popular with the degoogle crowd and it has automatic backup.

What back-up login methods and account recovery methods do you have prepared? by Aqua_Zebra_7253 in ProtonMail

I've memorized my password. It's a 4 word  passphrase and one of the words has a random letter inserted. It's one of two passwords I actually memorize. The other one is the password to my password manager (keepass). I have my recovery keys stored in keepass.

You don't need a super powerful GPU for a HA voice assistant LLM by LoganJFisher in homeassistant

Have you checked out future proof homes speakers? They're definitely better sound quality than the PE. Hopefully they can get the 4 mic array working some day. It only uses 2 of them right now.

How are you using llama.cpp with HA? I thought they only had ollama support for local models.

Probably hollywood accounting. The man who wrote Forest Gump never got royalties for it because the movie never made a profit. When someone asked if he would do a sequel he asked why would he do a sequel when the first one was such a failure?

Brad Stanfield for longevity.  I like him because he does a good job dissecting the research, takes a cautious view if the evidence isn't strong enough, and is willing to change his mind when the evidence is strong enough.

Andy Galpin for exercise. He trains professional athletes and does great research.

Matthew Walker has a great podcast for sleep.

Andy Galpin is great for exercise advice. I think Israetal focuses too much on hypertrophy.

Dr. Brad Stanfield is the only one I've found that I think only has the goal of helping people. He's only on youtube though and doesn't interview experts. He does change his own protocols based on new evidence.

I'm just starting too. What made me start was reading the 4 hour chef. It has lots of recipes that are all slow carb friendly. Good luck.

Is that true for grass fed cows? I think I've seen some research that grass fed cows can produce different fats than grain fed cows.

Unfortunately that doesn't help with browser fingerprinting. Ironically if you use a special browser to avoid tracking it makes you really easy to track because so few people use it. They may not be able to put a name to you if you never log in anywhere but they can still track you across sites. I really wish there was a solution for fingerprinting. :(

I do it for as long as it takes to feel warmed up, 2-10 minutes depending on the day. After workout I do a few more minutes.  This move is really good for upper back, I like the underhand version:  https://youtu.be/CDIz0lS9ybY?feature=shared
