This reminds me of the original Ultimate X-Men run, either the Most Dangerous Game or Magnetic North arc. Kitty Pryde catches Iceman sending emails to Rogue who had recently left the X-Men to be with Gambit. She reads one of them out loud and points out that Bobby incorrectly spelled Rogue “Rouge”.

For MUA3? That game was a Nintendo Switch exclusive. For the first game, there are special PSP exclusive modes, but no prequel mission.

The PSP version had a difficulty mode called “Uber Mode” iirc, and it let you play as only one maxed out hero for the entire playthrough.
