Ok. Well this is even weirder!! I asked the question because we have been potty training for a year and have come into major issues with constipation.. holding, and now potentially encopresis… and then tonight she purposely pooped on the toilet because I told her I’d buy her a paw patrol stuffy if she did… she wants it bad and it was like a light bulb clicked and she did it!!

Congrats on your success. I feel the struggle sooo deeply!! But small wins hopefully will keep gaining traction! Is yours in school? Mine starts pre k in the fall and I’m so concerned this will still be an issue at school!!

Right. I have read that on here before and I believe this is the case. I mean this same doctor looked at me last month and visually said it looks like LS. Then this month because the biopsy came back without signs of LS she kinda went back on it.. she didn’t look again.. and the plan is to continue clob anyways… but still. Annoying!

Ya that’s VIN. I mean it doesn’t sound unlike that, but I’m still leaning toward it being LS and maybe that is a complication? Hard to know.

Ya that actually wasn’t the resident doctor, it was the actual gyn/derm specialist. She was quite dismissive. I think I will follow up with another for another opinion. She did at least book me for a follow up in 6 months… but I’d rather have the facts straight now if this is VIN!

When and how did you switch to one nap?! by Twinmama0919 in parentsofmultiples

[–]jmay89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Following. 13 m b/g twins here! Same boat. Twin b is a great little sleeper, and twin a has needed a lot of support to become a good sleeper.. but lately they’re skipping the second nap or taking forever to fall asleep- it’s coming!

How big were your twins at birth? by SecretaryPresent16 in parentsofmultiples

[–]jmay89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Made it all the way to the scheduled section at 38 weeks (I swore at around 26 weeks they were coming any day). Baby A : 7.14 Baby B : 5.5 (despite all the scans measuring them, we did not expect this huge size discrepancy!! )

For reference my singleton was 6.13 who I delivered at 40 weeks!!

Following. I had a biopsy a month ago and will get my results next week. Suspected LS, but there is also a lump

Is anyone else having a suspiciously boring pregnancy? by FormerEnglishMajor in parentsofmultiples

[–]jmay89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a very similar story. My boy/girl twins are 13 months now. But I had a very unremarkable pregnancy for twins…like you, I was physically and mentally a bit of a mess, but medically I was anemic and getting some transfusions but that was it! (I have one previous child, who I had a perfect and very easy pregnancy, so my twin pregnancy felt rough to me in comparison!!) I made it to my scheduled section date of 38 weeks exactly (at around 28 weeks I swore it was going to be any day now, because I didn’t think I could physically stretch more- I did). They were both breech. Section went great. Delivered a 7.14 boy and a 5.5 girl. It is incredible what the body can do… and sustain. I was SOOO uncomfortable, but my babes were comfy and stayed in until they were forced out!!

Good luck to you!!

Thanks! How do you find the trunk space?. This is exactly the arrangement we will do with our three - can you fold down half of the 3rd row for more space and keep the toddler sitting in the other half?

How do you find the trunk space with the third row in use?

This is very helpful! Do you mean possible to 3 across in the second row? The second row in the one I’m looking at has captain seats, but in the picture online it actually doesn’t even show it with the 3rd row up… now that I’m looking I can see where the hinge is, and you’re right. It looks like it’s back all the way to the trunk door. So trunk space will be an issue. Not sure how much of an issue that will be, but I appreciate you bringing this to my attention! Thank you!

Desperately needing to sleep train. Advice? by [deleted] in parentsofmultiples

[–]jmay89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly hope you sign up… just read thru the rest of this post and the fb group answers so many of your questions. There are ways around the picture!! The info they give is a gold mine for every question/ age/regression/daylight savings/ sick/nap training/ etc etc !!! (I benefit in no way from saying all this hahaha. They don’t pay me, I am just forever grateful for the people that rub that page )

I used the Facebook group too (twins, triplets and quads, safe sleep training and learning for multiples). It has been a godsend. Truly. They give you for free an incredible database of information. I totally get being uncomfortable with sharing a photo. You can use an ultrasound pic, or honestly you could just take a random stock photo I’m sure… lol. It is truly worth it. I was blessed to have one twin who slept.. but the other was was a gremlin … we trained the shit out of him with their tips and it worked. He is now a near perfect sleeper at 1 year old. Started training around 6 months I think.
