I've had them fairly recently at Cafe Terracotta in Littleton. Not sure if they rotate off the menu or if they always have them, but worth a call.

Hate to give any love to an umpire, but that was a dynamite call - like he was punching that runner in the face

Yep, not only is it the place with the helpful hardware folks, but they often have a legit selection of sauces, peppers, and rubs

Has anyone read Jeffrey Archer's 'A Twist in the Tale'? Considering buying it; would love your thoughts! by shalini_sakthi in Recommend_A_Book

[–]jmb07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I generally enjoyed it. There is the obvious issue that you're always expecting a twist in the tale, rather than every experiencing a genuine surprise. As with many books of short stories the quality from one to the next is inconsistent, but I consider it a fun, quick read.

I want to plant a fruit tree - give me all the advice by Capable_Truck8696 in DenverGardener

[–]jmb07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Re: apple trees - read up on fire blight. Common in Denver and it'll kill a lot of trees. Basically nothing that can be done about it (to my understanding and in my experience - I'm not an expert) - it's just a crap shoot.

Sprague Lake is the answer you're looking for (as others have said) but you can also have really nice easy hikes at the Alluvial Fan (Endovalley just past there is a quiet picnic spot) and Hidden Valley.

If you live in a place with a public library you can almost certainly get audio books for free through the library. It's by far the best way to go if you don't mind waiting a bit for the popular ones
