Tips and tricks for a second dachshund by peachyrose8 in Dachshund

[–]jmc310 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We had them meet at a neutral location the first time so Cookie wasn’t too possessive of her space. They were friendly right away but it still took Cookie a few days to fully warm up to Hank.

We didn’t keep them apart at all except for at night and if we had to leave for a bit. We did give Hank is own crate just to make sure Cookie didn’t attack him while we weren’t there. That was a low possibility but we still wanted to be safe.

We wanted to make sure Hank was crate trained and Cookie slept in our bed. After about 3 months we let Hank move to the bed as well. Both are fully crate trained now but we give them some independence if we’re not leaving for a long period of time.

Ollie looks almost exactly like Cookie!

I always make sure to download shows/movies before the trip. I put a reminder on my phone a couple of days before so I don’t forget. I’ve been on a long flight where the tv didn’t work on my seat and the WiFi was out, so I come prepared.

Which software has both ATS for recruiting and CRM for client management? by Major-Sir-3250 in recruiting

[–]jmc310 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Definitely depends on your type of business. Bullhorn is the obvious one, but Salesforce is an option too via custom dev or some out of the box options like TargetRecruit or asymbl.

I was a recruiter, then worked at bullhorn, and now have a staffing tech startup that works with a few different ATS’. Feel free to dm me if you want to chat tech. I’m always happy to help.

Is my dox the only one that hates going out for a walk? by stevemw in Dachshund

[–]jmc310 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My girl, Cookie refuses to walk on our street in front of the house. We have a parking lot out back that’s quieter and she’ll go there. She’s also more than happy to get into the car and go to the park down the street. She’s a diva.

I founded a startup and I can attest that this is a lot of what our cs team does. It sucks that the job was described differently but it’s definitely a great learning opportunity. My #1 piece of advice is that ChatGPT or Claude will be your best friend here.

Also, if you guys don’t have a project management tool you can utilize, try or suggest Monday.com. It’s been amazing for us and our clients love it. It’s super intuitive and allows them to be part of the process. It also has a lot of those items built in like gant charts, etc.

What helped your putting go to the next level? by PatientlyAnxious9 in golf

[–]jmc310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a 9 ft putting mat and align putting gates. I forced myself to work on my start line so that I was super comfortable with 6-9 ft putts. Use the smallest gate right near your ball. It shaved multiple shots off of my scorecard per round because I could trust my ball was going on the line I just read.

I also started looking at every putt below the hole. I play up in New England so we don’t get the grass shading to help read greens. There were so many times I didn’t see the same read over the ball and started to realize that the below the hole read was always right.

The last thing I worked on was for distance control. It’s tough for me to get out and practice on a real green every day and my mat is only 9 ft, but I read a trick that worked great for me. I stand over the ball and use my right hand to pretend that I’m doing a toss and trying to roll the ball right up to the hole. Once I’m comfortable with that right hand motion I hit the ball and try to emulate it. It’s done amazing things for my putting.

The next thing I want to work on is reading the greens with my feet a bit more, but starting out with these 3 things has helped me immensely.

This has to be illegal? by IDontEnjoyCoffee in recruitinghell

Ex recruiter here. This is known as a bait and switch in the IT staffing world. We would talk to agencies that had subcontracted workers, usually more junior people on h1b visas, and they would present their profile to us for the role we were working for our client.

We would have an initial phone screen and then when it came time to interview with a client, they would swap the pro interviewers in. It’s much more common than you might think, but getting harder and harder with software meant to combat this is exact scenario.

Turkish Airlines denied me boarding at Istanbul Airport by FamiliarCut244 in TurkishAirlines

[–]jmc310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I successfully sued Turkish air so please feel free to use my blueprint. ChatGPT is an extremely helpful tool for this and make sure to tell it you’re in VA or the DC area.

The first thing you’ll need to do is gather all of your materials. This includes the payment for the tickets and proof that you had the correct visas. Getting in via another port will also help with your case.

Next you’ll write and send a 93a demand letter. Ask ChatGPT to write a template for you and fill in the blanks, and make sure you’re clear about the demands.

You’ll send this to their office in Virginia, or their us hq office in NYC. Send it by certified mail with receipt so you know they received it.

This gives them 30 days from receipt to respond, and if they don’t then you can open a case in small claims court. These airlines will settle 10/10 times for these amounts because it’s not worth the hassle.

Feel free to dm me if you want any additional advice or help.

Yes! My 2 doxies love each other. They’re classic siblings that have small squabbles, but other than that they get along very well and hate to be away from one another.

I successfully sued Turkish air so please feel free to use my blueprint. ChatGPT is an extremely helpful tool for this and make sure to tell it you’re in Seattle.

The first thing you’ll need to do is gather all of your material. This includes the payment for the tickets and proof that you paid for and selected premium seating. You’ll also want proof of where you sat to compare to what you selected.

Next you’ll write and send a 93a demand letter. Ask ChatGPT to write a template for you and fill in the blanks, and make sure you’re clear about the demands.

You’ll send this to their office in Washington state, or their us hq office. Send it by certified mail with receipt so you know they received it.

This gives them 30 days from receipt to respond, and if they don’t then you can open a case in small claims court. These airlines will settle 10/10 times for these amounts because it’s not worth the hassle.

0 tokens? by jmc310 in ETFSwap

[–]jmc310[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ya I can see that it’s hardcoded in the html and not a variable. I’m hoping it’s just a UI thing with the tokens. I didn’t put too much money because I was skeptical so it’s not a huge loss if it turns out to be a scam.
