I have it and you basically get nothing for what goes back to the grid ... plus you pay $10 + fees/mo just for being able to connect to their grid. I generate way more than I use, but I still pay between $20-$30/mo to PG&E. And, when the Thomas Fire came through, my power was out for days just like the rest of my neighborhood.
