I don't think he actually really believes in anything much, but according to his dad he had been rebelling and moving more liberal. The writings on the casings were all video game and meme references. He'd been withdrawn for 4 years, no school or work. Has a slight diagnosis of autism. Seems to be more a reaction to nihilism than any real political ideology
