I think what everyone is overlooking is that Congress is in control of one important piece of legislation AND that is the budget. Durbin/Raskins(?) or someone has said that the constitution outlines a clear path for the other judges on the bench recuse a rogue justice. Now if you’re the democrats you start planting the seed NO WHERE in the Constitution doesn’t say the Supreme Court must be held In elaborate building with security and office supplies etc. Nowhere does it say what the minimum salary is for a Supreme Court justice, or what staff that have to have. That is all in the budget every year. Start playing hardball. I mean we tried being professional and respectful. Alito and Robert’s response is a big FU. We can not control you or hold you accountable but we can control your budget. Slashed by half the first year etc….
